Do ps2 ports usually even have any h-content at all in them? I was under the impression only PC ports did. Could be way off though.

Also Spidey, the art style for quarttet looks awesome, I'm going to give it a shot.

That was my point- if they're able to remove the H content and still sell it as a game, it can't be centered around it too much...

So I kinda just won a free copy of Demonbane.

Any idea how much, err, H content is in it? I figure it can't be too much, since it got a PS2 port.

It should be the original PC version. I'm assuming it will be uncensored, though.

To clarify again: I was using the fact that it had a PS2 port to say "It's obviously not centered around H content, since it had enough plot to have a clean PS2 version", not as "It's the PS2 version".

And to rephrase what I was originally asking... since it's apparently 30-50 hours long, I was wondering how often there'd be H content (for example, I know F/SN is about that long and I've heard it only has 7 H scenes). I haven't really ever played an eroge before, so I just wanted to know how sex-heavy this one was.

There's one INCREDIBLY long ero scene that pretty much sets a record among the visual novel reading community, I believe. There's definitely some stuff that could be considered as sexual, but I don't know much about ero scenes in Demonbane.

Finished Alliance of the Golden Witch.

...that was the longest one? It sure didn't seem like it, especially with how fast the sacrifices went. I mean, I probably played it in bigger chunks than before, since Banquet got me hooked, but... I dunno.

Almost done with G-Senjou no Maou. I'd say I'm at 75% of the way there, to me, that is almost done (personally). I'm really taking my time though, I rushed through the first two chapters.

Might be reading Wanko next. I already have it saved on my external. Mixed reviews on Wanko.

Finished Wanko on both routes, it was mediocre.

G-Senjou, I'm now at the final chapter (Chapter 5) before reaching Haru's Chapter. After the scene with Tokita & the hostage, baaaaaaaw. I feel so bad for Haru and Kyousuke, after learning about everything up to this point. I seriously pity the protagonist, and I'm loving the path that the VN's heading right now. It's about to tie some loose knots since I'm nearing the finale, I can't wait to see the end. Haru's such a deep and emotional character once you get to know more about her. ;-;

I've scheduled out how I'm spending my free time for the next few months, since I have that large a back-log/that many things I want to see/play. Basically, tomorrow will see me starting to play Umineko 5 (by applying 7's download patch to my copy of 8, since there's no patch for 8 yet) and then finally getting back to Kanon and completing a route.

Ending of G-senjou was f`ucking amazing. How Kyousuke changed as a person, how he wanted to end that chain of hatred, and how he showed to everyone that he truly is the son of Azai Gonzou. It was all spectacular, no words can describe how I feel. Gonzou played a major role in this chapter, and I can even see everything even from Maou's perspective. Haru really shined in chapter 5, too bad they didn't involve a lot of characters in ch 5, but even Eiichi had a decent role in this chapter. All of the tension in this chapter was completely killing me left and right, and I don't think I shed so many tears reading a VN.

This is definitely, and without a doubt, the best VN I've read as of recent. The plot-holes aren't even plot-holes, once I thought out everything carefully. There were never any to began with, it's just that everything was a bit "too" convenient for the protagonist and friends. Haru is such a cute and adorable character as well, I couldn't understand her at all from chapters 1-3, but around chapter 4-5, it all clicked.

Perfect VN. Highly recommending to everything that likes anything with plot twists, tension build-ups, and character development. There's supposed to be a Haru chapter after 5, but the credits rolled after ch 5, so I'm assuming it's one of those extra special chapters. Gonna be readin' that now. I was supposed to sleep earlier, but I was too busy reading this. After spending over a month reading this, I don't regret reading this at all. Quality VN.

Haru route is true&best route. The amount of hints she gave, everything.. it makes so much sense!

They were going to release it in late April till it got delayed until June. They didn't reveal this till the end of March. Wat.

In other news, I recently played through "don't take it personally, babe, it just ain't your story", which is an OELVN with some interesting twists. It can get a little preachy at points, but overall it's pretty good (and it's short too), so I definitely recommend it. Though I'd suggest checking out "Digital", another game (not a VN, but it's influenced by VNs) by the same developer, before you do, since... well, you'll see.

And Shira Oka is on sale for half off this week. It's an OEL dating sim... the demo wasn't amazing, but it was good enough that I'll probably be picking it up during the sale.

I finished 999 a while back. It's good. An interesting twist to the story of the Titanic. You can tell it's by the same people that did Ever17, not sure if that's a pro or a con.

What I'm really excited about though is Katawa Shoujo, confirmed to come out this year. Three routes are done so far; Rin and Shizune are left. Can't wait.

Oh, oh, was just thinking about Katawa Shoujo. It seems like forever ago that I first heard about it here on SP... :x

And I actually got 999 for my birthday, but I kinda wanna play Ever17 first... gotta start plowing through my VN backlog, I guess. >.<
