i see more and more starting one already and talking about it lol
Ill put it simply. Mechanics are gods at DPM. Dual Blades are gods over mechanic.
Dual blader is really the only class that can surpass a mech in both damage at bosses AND at training...it's no longer the lolnx class, but the omgtoopowerfulwithnx class.

@ZeroGravity cause I too lazy to quote:
Dual Blades are supposed to be the Gary Motherfu cking Oak of Mechs in Chaos, so expect massive rage at Dual Blades all over again.
Tigeon Wrote:InsaneDesire, i think that would utterly decimate the current mage population if we could class change xd
Hmmm? I don't see that SP name in this thread. You meant me?

Because it's TOO easy. That and we all no that no private server ever lasts long, so you'd feel like you wasted your time.

No worries about messing up my name. Rest up for mid-terms, you'll need it.

Be able to play the game without ever worrying about losing EXP for dying, or to be able to faceroll stuff, or to fund your other characters? The game doesn't have to end at 200.

Define "play the game" when there's no longer anything to do. That's circular. You've already played every inch of the game getting to 200. Then what? Do it all some more, except this time with no actual reason, motivation or arbitrary way of keeping score?

Maybe there's still content that had been completely ignored because it was faster to level by grinding than by exploring? Then there's always equipment upgrading (cubing). Helping guildies with boss runs? Getting even more money (whether it be virtual or NX) so you can fund a different class or bask in having so much money? For the bolded, sure why not? Just play cause you wanna? Hakuna matata.

When you've already gotten max mesos repeatedly, beaten every boss, are sick to the death of all the whiny drama ridden angsty assed "players" who really seem to want someone else to play for them and don't have any need to upgrade your equipment any more because you've got nothing to do with it you still come back to the why. Play because you want to requires wanting to, and wanting to requires there to be something to still interest you.
Oh yay I can go explore the level 10 area I passed up 190 levels ago. Oh look. It has nothing but a few more mobs to mindlessly kill. Whoopy-doo.

Edit: Eos, why do ya gotta keep looking at the bottle half empty, and be a pessimist about it? If you cared for MS enough, 200 wouldn't be the end. 200 sounds like your ONLY objective since day 1(more ideal to me since you tracked peoples track to 200 list, IIRC). There is always something to complete that you haven't before, but you chose not to. This is not the case for EVERY 200 character ever known.

I don't see how this is a problem. Getting to level 50 is possible in one day. Getting to 100 is possible in 2 days. The only problem I foresee with using this is that characters created with this method will have less HP and MP than normal because knowing Nexon, they'll bypass the bonuses received for advancing to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd job yet again.

I'm not a pessimist, I'm a realist. Why would I make Maple my life when it gives me nothing to do and there are thousands of other games I haven't played yet? I prefer having a life to sitting there growing moss waiting on some one to "need" me. No matter how much I "Care" for Maple it won't change the fact that Nexon does not care for me. That's an awful lot of investment to be treated like crap, abused, neglected and ignored when there quite literally is nothing left to do in the game. It is, always has been and probably always will be nothing more than a grind fest. I played to kill time until it ran out of ways to do so. Now I play other things until they run out of things to do. My behavior and attitude are not even slightly abnormal in this. Nexon does not provide things to do. If I, the player, have to expend an inordinate amount of time and effort just to try to think of new ways to enjoy their game they're the ones who have failed. If the only thing left for me to do is remake another version of the same classes I've already played to death the game is done.

I understand.
But I know people who play to be completionists. Sadly, one of those was monster book, I won't leave MS till I get monsterbook back and complete it, however long that takes.

Monsterbook, Maker, merchanting, questing, I tried them all but for me they just weren't fun, and I'm usually the sort who enjoys completing tasks and checking items of my to do list. The problem was Nexon makes them so horribly monotonous and repetitive that I just can't pretend it's fun - It takes so long for each milestone that there's no real sense of progress because the finish line never seems to move any closer for most tasks. Monster book for example , I can't say "Oh just five hundred more slimes and I'll get my next card", it could be 5, 500, or 5 million.
It's not having what you want - It's wanting what you've got.
