I tried once recently, log in is fine, but when i get to choose my channel I get DCed. That's about it.

lol....earthquakes happen daily in california. That is not the cause of maple going down though. I just tried to login and got disconnected right away...never made it to pic.

Log in from the site, you'll d/c on selecting a channel.
Use gamelauncher, you'll need your old PIN, but you can reach character selection. Can't get in either way though.

An update:o
Hello Maplers, This morning, we lost power in our west coast server center which caused all servers to unexpectedly shut down. This downtime affected our website as well as game and login servers. We apologize for the downtime and our inability to update you quickly about this issue. Right now we are on emergency power at the server center and while all game servers are up we are still experiencing issues with MapleStory. For now we advise players to not log into the game. We may require some maintenance on the database before you are able to log in normally. Please continue to check back here for updates. Omg T_T i think they Roll Backed.
I got in to the point where it asks you to make a new PIC, and my character was not wearing what i logged off with this morning T______T
