PREFACE: THIS POST IS A LAZY COPYPASTA
You guys know the deal this time. [SIZE="4"]Anyone can vote,[/SIZE] be they in the tournament or not. If you are in the tournament, don't reveal what you entered please, even if both of your songs get eliminated. It's more fun to keep people guessing. Other than that, gl;hf, and may the best song win.
As a reminder, please vote in every round if you choose to vote. You can do it in parts (i.e. put up some votes and say "I'll edit with the rest later") as long as you actually follow through. Also, for simplicity's sake try to format the votes as follows:

(Note: when I put "winner" in brackets, it's as a placeholder. You don't actually need to include the brackets when you put up votes.)
Every round, the losing song from every main bracket match will get dropped into the loser's bracket. Loser's bracket rounds will operate on a race-to-the-finish mindset, with the first song in each match to garner 7 votes advancing to the next round of the loser's bracket. This will be done as an attempt to expedite the loser's bracket somewhat, as it will probably last an extra two rounds beyond the main bracket.

Match 1: Pig With the Face of a Boy - Complete History Of The Soviet Union, Arranged To The Melody Of Tetris <-- It was funny, and the other song seemed kind of generic to me
Match 2: Elton John - Saturday Night's All Right for Fighting <-- Other song was kind of meh, and this one was about fighting!!! Yeah
Match 3: The Orichalcon - Clairvoyant Eulogy <-- The other song was ok, I just liked this one more
Match 4: Uncle Kracker - Follow Me <-- Secondhand Serenade wasn't bad, see above
Match 5: Golden Sun OST - Isaac Battle Theme <-- I had to turn off the other song halfway through and put on the real DF song. 8-bit just doesn't do it justice
Match 6: Candlemass - Don't Fear the Reaper (Blue Oyster Cult Cover) <-- Don't Fear the Reaper is a really cool song, and they covered it pretty well
Match 7: Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra - Fragrance of Dark Coffee (Orchestra version) <-- The other song did not impress me, I've been suckered by orchestra once again
Match 8: Andrea Bocelli - Con Te Partiro <-- I like Take On Me in a "haha, this song is kind of annoying, but it makes me laugh" way. Con Te Partiro is simply beautiful

EAST DIVISION
Match 1: Pain of Salvation - Ashes: After findiing the first song, I can't say I'm too impressed with it from a musical perspective. As a video it's somewhat interesting, but otherwise it's lacking. Pain of Salvation essentially wins by default.
Match 2: The Audition - Los Angeles: Pretty easy given my complete non interest in all of Elton John's music.
Match 3: The Orichalcon - Clairvoyant Eulogy: Not a big fan of either of these, so I just went with the one that I thought I might not mind having playing in the background.
Match 4: Uncle Kracker - Follow Me: Not a big fan of Uncle Kracker, but it was better than the generic sound of Secondhand Serenade.
Match 5: Mario Paint - Through the Fire and Flames (Dragonforce Cover): Pretty easy given my disinterest in most video game music and the fact that it required a ton of work to do the Mario Paint Cover of a pretty good song.
Match 6: Jonathan Coulton - Code Monkey: Love this song by Jonathon Coulton, and the cover by Candlemass just wasn't good enough to match up to it.
Match 7: Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra - Fragrance of Dark Coffee (Orchestra version): Wasn't a fan of the remix, and while this particular orchestral piece wasn't something that made me uber excited, it was still good enough to get my vote.
Match 8: Andrea Bocelli - Con Te Partiro: Easy decision given how annoying Take On Me is and how epic the other song is.
WEST DIVISION
Match 1: Jimi Hendrix - All Along The Watchtower (Bob Dylan Cover): Not a very good Audioslave song . . . but imo also not a very good Jimi Hendrix cover, so I went with the one that seemed slightly better.
Match 2: Gigi D'Agostino - The Riddle: Pretty easy decision given I'm not a big fan of that Bad Religion song and Gigi D'agostion's song was pretty good.
Match 3: Murray Gold - The Greatest Story Never Told: Kind of tough, but I've never been a huge Barenaked Ladies fan, and I do love my Doctor Who.
Match 4: Mad World - Gary Jules: Too bad the 12 Stones didn't go up against a different song or it'd have had a chance. Donnie Darko is one of my fav films though, so of course I had to go with Mad World.
Match 5: They Might Be Giants - Experimental Film: Easy choice because the Kings of Leon song was bleh.
Match 6: Aqua - Dr. Jones: Kind of tough given my enjoyment of musicals, and the Aqua song being just okay compared to their other songs, but in the end Aqua edged it out. A different piece or one from a different musical might have clinched it.
Match 7: Taste - Ren'ai Circulation (Orchestra version): Not a fan of Taio Cruz, and I am a big fan of Bakemonogatari so this was an easy decision.
Match 8: Cee Lo Green - F*ck You: Pretty easy decision given the choice. Not a big fan of such generic video game music in general and F*ck You is a pretty good song.

Wait what? I listened to every song at least twice. After all the music I've listened throughout the years, after 2 minutes I can tell if I like a song or not.
... Except for Andrea Bocelli. Nothing's gonna change my vote on Take On Me <3
