Let's say you die tomorrow...
Do you think you've left a good enough impression on people to feel that you'd live on in people's memories? Have you left any reason to be missed?

Such a depressing topic...
No i probably haven't made a good enough of an impression on the world at large.
In the lives of people i know, i sure hope i have made an impression. A large enough impression, i know not. All i know is, is that i've done what i can to help all my friends and my family. And if that wasn't enough, then it is not my fault. Seeing as i've only lived a whole 19 years, it isn't much time to have actually done anything major.
We can't always see the outcomes of our actions, but the way we can make others feel and make ourselves feel during and after said actions, should be worth it in the end.

I'd like to think that after I died that everything would go on as if I had never existed etc.
Pretty nice to think that everything you've done in life erodes in the flow of time anyways.

I think this comment is more depressing than the topic of discussion itself. lol
I find it very sad when a person dies, they leave the world with no memory of their existence. I feel as though I'll meet that fate aswell, which is extremely depressing. Thinking about this topic only brings floods of questions of what I could do to leave my mark on this Earth. What's the point in being if there's no proof of you ever being?

Now, why would you bring that up in this topic of discussion?

A few close friends, family, and probably some co-workers.
I've made some choices where I'm not at all entirely sure if it was the right thing to do, but no point dwelling on it.
I would just hope I've left a positive impression on everyone I've had a relationship with, big or small.

I haven't made too much of an impact on anyone, just a few I'm sure, but even then they'll most likely forget me over time; it's expected.
Realistically, it doesn't matter how much of an impact you made on others, eventually you'll be forgotten by more and more people, and most likely vanish into nothingness. The things you do should matter to yourself not others because the actions will hold more value to -you-. When you're old and dying -you'll- look back on what things you've done, and if you're satisfied with what you've done then that's all that matters.

No.
Because I am only one insignificant ant in a massive pool. I wouldn't be expecting anything. Nor would I care.

I believe no one can truly make an impact on the world unless they are imortalized in photos. For ones face is a memory that is never forgotten, and memories of the one that you loved or loved you (whether that be family/friends etc) your memory will live on.
So I say Yes and No.

Woops, sorry about that, didn't look to see if it was the funhaus.
I think I would barely leave an impression, maybe some girl I've been trying to go out with, (haven't done much, just talked to her, and maybe she likes me back, sooo... ) I think when I get the job I want (maybe blueprints of houses, and 3d models on the computer) maybe I'll be remembered as the legendary housemaker, but ehh. I'm hoping my family will remember me, lol. :f6:

Will only be remembered by my close family. Would I leave a good impression? Dunno.
I believe they do love and care for me. And I also believe I haven't made anything that would leave a bad impression on them. That could change if they ever manage to get into this computer though.
For one there's my secret anime/manga geek -ines. Which in my culture is not considered "manly"/adult.
Then there are those two or three VNs that I totally watch for plot and not for the porn that would create a misunderstanding...
Then the white panty fetish.
And the entire browsing history.
And "that" folder.
... I better make sure my laptop explodes the instant my heart stops beating. >_>

Well, I think it's pretty uplifting. Makes me try to appreciate things a little bit more, seeing as we're rather finite things anyways.

I do know a lot of people online that would be sad, and would probably remember me. Friends in real life, and family would be about the only people that I would be missed by. I haven't graduated yet, so I still have time to be known in the world.

By my best friend, perhaps. But I can never be sure, really.
