Spam E-mails
#1
Has anyone been getting lots of these lately? It seems that all of them contain malicious links, or are scams.

There are even those "(No Subject)" e-mails sent using a contact's e-mail address...

Oh yes. Seems a little strange but I've been getting some of the aforementioned e-mails with someone else's e-mail address in the "recipient" portion; the e-mail address is often gibberish too. I wonder how they're even doing this; the e-mail shows no signs of having been forwarded or sent to multiple recipients.

So the rubbish address is in the "To:" section, and my e-mail address along with many others' are under "Bcc:"?

What on earth does the idiot even hope to achieve by doing this? Why not just send it out as per normal? It's not like people are going to click the pineappleing link just because someone else's e-mail address is displayed as the recipient of the e-mail.

Because spammers don't care if you're reading who it was addressed to, all they care about is the 2% of their millions of addressees who will click the links.

Only spam e-mails I've been getting lately are from colleges.
