Got my Hawaii acceptance letter today.

Do you happen to know what it's like there? I don't know anything about the school besides it has a nice asian language department, which I plan to go into.

Got accepted to Michigan State University, no scholarship. Haven't heard from other colleges. Meh.

No way dude. I thought the same, but you make friends so easily within the dorm - not to mention just sitting with random people at the cafeteria. I've probably made ~5 good friends from just randomly joining them (or they randomly joined me).

As long as you have some confidence, you'll be fine.

Anyways, my AFROTC interview will be held the following Monday. This will be the "make it or break it" deal because I'll know then whether I really want to commit to the ROTC program (if I do get offered a scholarship) or not.

But either way, I'm looking forward to it!

Had my Air Force ROTC interview yesterday, and it went well. Had a lot of questions put to rest during the Q&A session I had with my interviewer after the interview was done. I may consider going into ROTC (and Air Force after college).

Hillsdale College admission decisions for Early Action were released today, expecting a letter soon. Taking my first ever steps onto University of Michigan campus on Friday. Hoping for the miracle experience. I have no idea why I've never been there, when it's only like an hour away.

Hah, most likely. Hillsdale didn't give me the "I belong here" feeling. The campus is smaller than my high school's campus and it's a 1,200 total student school. It's tiny, but offers a great education. Hopefully things are clearer after Friday.

Got into Hillsdale! Was offered a Merit scholarship of $3,000 renewable each year and they were kind enough to send everything at once, no pay now then receive info later. Now I just have to revisit and make my final decision. Hoping to decide by mid-March.

About $27,000. They refuse all government and public scholarship money, and match it with private sponsors. There's lots of scholarship money available and they throw lots at you once you tell them your major and other financial needs.

Essentially. Hillsdale is pretty good about reducing the price of college for their students because they produce some of the best undergraduates in the nation, and it's such a small community that reputation is important.

Well, I got an early acceptance into Brock's Bachelor of Accounting program, with co-op. I should've applied to some of the bigger name programs, it looks like I actually stood a chance of getting in.
