Please help

Well during the latest patch my patcher crashed. I tried to restart maple and it wouldn't work at all and told me to re-download it. So I got a copy of maple from a friend with maple on his usb drive. I loaded the folder on to my computer and tried to reopen it. Hacksheid works fine and all but when hacksheild is done loading, maple crashes and i get a windows error telling me that maplestory is not working properly (the window that shows up when something is not responding). I have windows vista please help.

Check compatability/run as admin in the Compatability tab of your exe file.

What OS are you on?

Turn off User Access Control and run MapleStory again.

Check your router for any ports being blocked. I don't know what it is offhand, but your patcher's listen port could be blocked.

I recommend a full client reinstall using the old download method on the site (where you download maplestory.exe in its entirety and then install from that same file.
