Scrolling Mech Parts?

I was under the impression you couldn't scroll the Mech parts, yet when I was browsing through the FM last night I found 3 pieces that were +1. I saw no real big difference in stats, it just seemed to have a +1 there. The only thing I could think of is a Chaos Scroll, but I can't imagine people wasting them on the parts (plus the Attack/DEX/STR were all within range of what they drop from mobs at).

Does anyone know how you scroll them?

Are they considered accessories? I didn't think they were.


Other than that possibility, I think the only way would be to use a Chaos Scroll. The only equipment I can see them being useful on would be the engines, since they give weapon attack. Then again, the other equipment can exponentially help a Mechanic, if well-scrolled, such as the STR equipment. Those could help make a low-STR or even STRless character equip much higher level equipment, allowing room for higher level equipment, allowing for better potential bonuses.

Accessory scrolls don't work on them, I just tried it. So you're stuck using chaos scrolls for all parts. Engine should be top priority for obvious reasons.

doubtful since all the mech equipment I ever saw (dropped or in FM) none of them were potentialed

Seems like Chaos Scrolls (they work on ANYTHING?). But it's some HORRIBLE Chaos scrolling, -1 STR and -1 Wattk under average.

I wonder if Enhancement Scrolls work on these too.

Only Chaos Scrolls work on Dragon Equips. I would assume its the same with Mechanic parts.

I think its the armor scrolls. People in Windia buy for alot. I heard they scroll everthing except weapons. Not really sure but i think thats it.

Not sure if armor work, haven't found a cheap armor int 60 to test it.

potential scrolls dont work, i tried that earlier. enhancements should work if you can get it down to 0 slots. i'll try that when i get a decently chaos'd engine

I'm going to say that it's Chaos 60% scrolls by all logical means. Scrolls only work on what they are designed for with Chaos being the current multi-usage scroll outside Enhancement scrolls and Potential scrolls with some limitations to each. You have to match the Category type of an equip-able item to the scroll. No match, no scroll.
