Gear Up for the Hot Time 3 Event

I work every 6 saturdays... ...Looks like I won't be able to get an SP Reset Scroll +again+. So much for compensation for them changing skills.

What do perma beginners get (for mastery book)? @_@

Weekend + Hot Time + 2x EXP/DROP + Main Town = LAG LAG LAG.

Anyone with a slow connection speed is going to be completely and royally screwed.

Mechanic patch. I used multiple windows user to log on various accounts up to last night (I did it too last Hot Time), but this morning it gave me the Hackshield error.

By 'in town', do they mean in any town, or just the major ones (Victoria Island, Orbis, Leafre, and Ludibrium)?

I'm worried about this too. What about towns like Herb Town, Aquarium, Ariant? are they considered major towns?

To be safe, i might just go to Henesys on a weaker character, open it, then log out and go back on my high level characters to make use of the 2x EXP event.

I'd say any place a return scroll would take you.

I'm almost sure that even being in training areas will still reward you. It's probably the same old, don't be in boats/trains.

I'm pretty sure they didn't actually change anything in the way it works. Some people complained about not getting the reward, but Nexon couldn't be bothered to research all the conditions that made it not work. They're fairly certain being idle in town works, so that's what they tell us to do.

What they didn't think of is that having hundreds of people in one map, even idle, guarantees that many of them will lag so bad they won't be able get Cassandra's message or respond to it, and will probably d/c.
That is, if they've even removed the max-people-in-map limit introduced during the Cake vs. Pie event...

I don't need an SP reset on any of my chars, and I lag in towns even on the best of days, so I intend to train or hunt for drops (or both) during the 2x. If I still get the Hot Time thing, well and good. If I don't, oh well, I'll survive without the worthless potions and fame I'd have gotten.

Lucky guy should come out at like 5x the rate because we have time traveler.

The sp reset scroll is tradable throughout the account right ?

I don't think I'll be training during 2x EXP / Drop. Too many people hunting for maps and stuff.

I'll just AFK on two accounts while I play Minecraft.
