I never expected him to be contracted to Nexon, or even Nexon noticing that his animations for maplestory are top notch. o-o

But it's all good, he's a great artist and Nexon did a good thing by taking him on.

Ah, apparently, the ONLY words I missed from even the second time I was reading was actually "Masteria update". Didn't even read past "Furry animals" :p

Also BannedStory_WIN must be a chronicle of their banning BannedStory from using newer data, because surely Nexon wouldn't use it. :|

NEXON Korea seems to be like the Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog. Yeah that crappy show who every 2 seconds of the opening theme song was about having the title in a different animation style. They kill the public with MapleStory shyt. My friend went to Korea and he said theres billboards, tennis shoes, backpacks, pencils, a van that advertises ms, NEXON people selling ms stuff, on his tour he saw the NEXON building it was one of the he was shown, and his mom even has a pack of MapleStory tissues. Korea beats it to death and NEXON Am is like MAPL-HEYYYYYY LOOK ITS BIG BOOBED LADY! LOOK AT HOW AWESOME VINDICTUS IS, FREE TO PLAY AND SHYT, ZOMG DRAG0NS NEST, PLAY DFO PLXZZZZZZZZZZZZZ

He's still in that pretentious 'game addiction is a serious problem' phase, but he definitely sounds more fair-minded now, thank goodness. I do give a biiig thumbs-up to Nexon for giving him the opportunity regardless.

We might actually see more Masteria in the future. Probably not soon, but better than nothing.

Oh what the hell! LOL I really enjoyed it. Didn't think I was going to watch it but now I'm looking forward to more. It was a lot of fun, even if some of it was painfully embarrassing to watch. Some of the skits were hilarious, like Testers and Rants and Raves. I think it'd be a lot of fun to work for Nexon.

FINALLY getting Witch Awakening! Needed more about DFO, though! That part was so short and boring. Come on, guys. Too much Maplestory in the video.

Also, what the pineapple at that ridiculous attempt of copying that very old maple animation series?

Congrats to the guy on being hired by Nexon - I enjoyed that video long ago. Smart move on their part, IMO.


EDIT: Watched the video. My thoughts:

-Host was good, kept the show moving
-Most of the skits were...meh. Looking forward for improvement. Puppet show had such a predictable outcome.. ._.'
-Animated video was similar, but I love the NPC who leaves town and actually starts to play.
-Dragon Nest looks epic.
-Almost tempted to try Vindictus but resisted the urge

Overall, a great idea and fairly well-executed for a first run. If they do one of these a month, I think it will turn out great. I would like to see a "DVD Menu" feature added to the beginning to skip to certain parts of the video.

Cool, a TV-Magazine style feature. I made a lot of these in High School. Brings back memories.


Here's my thoughts:
- Host isn't half bad, generally not a bore to look at. Transitions could use a little more work. (there were none.)
- The news portion for each game was attention keeping. I especially liked the Dragon Nest coverage.
- The little 'skits' they had here and there (mainly Combat Arms) were a bit boring.
- The Shakespeare feature in Mabinogi all of a sudden made me interested again.
- Testers... Like "The Tester"? The Reality show shown exclusively on Playstation Network? Oh, Sorry, they sounded alike. I enjoyed the auditions for testers, but, the... what appears to be the main character in the 'premier' was a bit slower paced than the rest of the show, which made transitioning into it awkward. I do have to say, the talents in this we're much more enjoyable then those from the other skits. Perhaps the slow pace was necessary for the person they focused on, in that particular scene, but it was just set up pretty bad. A bad buildup to a bad punchline.
- Speaking of slow paced, I felt the animation was the same, but the incredible job done on the animation made up for it.
- Raves and rants... some guy read a line on the forums, the host makes guesses as to what the guy was talking about, and then....nothing really gets explained. I didn't like the segment.
- Audios good, framings good, but stuff like that, I'd expect to go pretty well.
- I honestly skipped through the puppet show. By this time, I was just trying to redeem any time as to not waste a complete 30 minutes of my life. I may go back and watch it later.
- A word with the chief: HA! the staff at Nexon DO play their own games!
- It surprised me that every other game got a larger segment then Maplestory (in all serious news), being their flagship game.
