Attack Speed, Bob, & more
#1
So very many questions. I'll start with the simple and progress to the more odd.

Bob the Snail
Where is he now? Didn't see him listed in the World Map, and iirc DMT is gone.

Resistance Ring
Still bugged? Or is there a way to get it now?

What's a good ending staff for a BaM?
I'm nowhere close to rich, I can blow probably around 100-125mil on a staff, and wondering what I should be aiming for as a sort-of-but-not-really-end-game weapon. I'm high enough to use a Doomsday, but the MTS prices looked ridiculously high, which probably means they're extremely expensive in the FM? Currently lv106, Low-LUK build.

Quick damage boosts
Besides a new weapon, what else could bump his damage? I have a Zhelm, lv17 evolving ring, dep star, some half-decent scrolled earrings, a bad PuAC, and bad WG, but the rest of what I'm using is all clean gear. Overall, not counting the ring and Zhelm, I'm wearing about 50~60mil I think. And again, I'm rather poor, can't afford a ten billion 21% INT potential earring of silly.

Attack Speed
How does it work? Specifically:
  • Times for normal/fast/etc attacks
  • If I use a "Fastest" weapon and use booster, what happens?
  • What exactly does +1 attack speed mean? I've always assumed it to be Slow->Normal, Faster->Fastest, etc; but when looking at hidden-street, I see things like "Normal (6)" and "Slow (8)"

Bob: Gone.
Ring: Still bugged.
End game staff: Doomsday, Pyogo, ele staff lvl 103, ele staff lvl 163. If non of those, then a godly Evil wings or any normal mage staff scrolled to decentness.
Quick boost: Potential, get low Int % boosts here and there if you can't afford the goodies. It adds up anyway.
Attackspeed: Booster can't override the speed cap faster(3). If you use a fast staff on a BaM, you can use dark aura instead of yellow but still be as fast as you can be. We have Faster(3), fast(4) , fast(5), normal(6), slow(7), slow(8) and slower(9). The higher the number the slower you attack.

Just 1 thing: Attack speed cap is Faster (2) (Faster 2 > Faster 3 > Fast 4 > Fast 5 > Normal 6 > Slow 7 > Slow 8 > Slower 9). You can check more here: Attack Speed Reference

Ele Staffs and Evil Wings are Fast (4), Crimson Arcanon, Pyogo Mushroom and Doomsday Staff are Normal (6). Yellow Aura + Body Boost + Advanced Yellow Aura = 3 Attack speed boost so BaM end game weps should be Doomsday Staff or Ele Staffs, correct me if im wrong

Bob is gone. MDT is not.

Ah yes, I ment to write Faster(2) as cap, but weapons are faster(3), so the rest is correct.

MDT: Master Death Teddy, DMT: Drakes Meal Table.

I was gonna hunt Crimsonwoods and try to make Crimson Arcanon and use that as an end game(-ish) weapon (until I can afford something better). Would that be a bad idea? Does anyone know the attack speed of it?

Crimson Arcanon is Normal (6) and on-par with Doomsday/Pyogo. They're not really that much better than the Dragon Staff or the Last Unwelcome Staff, though.

Pyogo is fast (5).

Come to think of it, couldn't I hit (2) if I had a Normal staff, Booster, Yellow, Body Boost, and that party-wide booster CK pirates have?

The great thing about fast staves is that you do not need any of that except booster and can use dark aura instead, but yes, you can hit the speed cap like you mentioned even with a slow staff.

Apparently only two Doomsdays exist in Broa that aren't in the MTS, both Unique rarity and 600mil+. Sad

Would a Crimson Arcanon actually be affordable?
