Few questions about Pap

What quests do i have to do to be able to fight it and at what level? Also how long does it take to take it down on average? I have never actually fought a boss in maple(zakum,pap,ht, etc)

Protect Ludibrium quest-line at 120.

It takes me less than 5 minutes to kill him at Level 146. For anyone it shouldn't take any longer than 10 minutes at max.

You won't hit at a 100% rate till 126. And by then you should be doing decent damage enough to kill it at least within 20 minutes.

Lol, that stupid papulatus is annoying, it took me about 5~7mins normally. But yesterday I lost about 10mins, stun and dispel and stun and ...#*&#^#)(
Maybe my DK 's suck, but I think most of the time we spend in fighting papulatus is the stunning time and the time to rebuff >,..,<

That's definitely the key issue.
The time it takes depends a lot less on damage and a lot more on being able to evade these stuns and dispells.
Once I got sufficient Stance to be able to stay on the platform with the machine appartus on it (where Pap's stuns and dispells don't reach), it became a *lot* easier and a *lot* shorter.
You do still need to eliminate its 23m hp, but as people above me have said, that's just a few minutes nowadays.

Using skills like Hammer, Sacrifice, and Panic will reduce his HP more quickly.

Usually now that Blast hits 3 times I don't rebuff until Pap goes into his stasis mode. Best thing to do is just keep attacking until then even if you are debuffed and then rebuff during the short break and smack him with a powerful attack after he emerges from the clock again.
