Mute got lucky (almost)

Last night I went out with a friend of mine and two people he met in A.C. (Atlantic City for those unaware), and I was the designated driver for the evening. We went out to a bar, then went to the club that was attached in another part of the bar. We mingled, and got along pretty well, the 4 of us. To clarify, it was me, my friend Matt, and the two he met in AC were named Marci (female) and Cory (male).

Events unfolded, Cory got kicked out and no one knows why, and we all left to crash at Matt's place. Speed up the clock and bit and Marci was cuddling up to me and Matt for warmth. Speed the clock up more, and she's laying with him on the opposite couch as I have a bout of insomnia.

Speed up the clock to ~7 am, and she comes cozying up over to me. Skip back a bit, when Cory and Matt went outside for a while to talk about something. Dunno what, but Marci and I were snuggling and flirting on the couch while they were outside. Speed up to later on, after dropping her off at her house and him at his car, and when Matt and I get back to his place. Turns out that, rather than Matt trying to get with her, which he's not so interested in anymore, she's got a thing for me.

While I think I should've tried for more than just 1st base last night, she drank herself sick and was throwing up in the morning, so it works out I guess. Did try to keep her warm in the morning, drove her home, did the whole "try not to ruin this one, dumbf'uck" thing. As we were pulling up to her house she asked me for my number. Hell, she invited me to hang out again on Saturday to go out drinking or something.

And I did all this sober, having a good time and all. So yeah.

As shown here, I went to a club with this girl and her friend.

Earlier on this evening she texts me to see how I was doing. We chat a bit over text, and ask her out for a date in the future as for the next few days my schedule's gonna be sheer chaos. She said yes.

Now where I hope I luck out like a mother f'ucker, her friend that's in her friend-zone, last night he asked me if I liked her. Now, he and I get along well enough for the two days I've known the guy. Where I hope I luck out is he helps push her and I together. He's tried to a few times already like last night trying to get her and I to dance together. Pretty cool dude, really, reminds me of a dude I went to high school with.

Though, I don't make it a habit of going to AC. I swear when I was parked in the garage last night I thought I heard gunshots going off. This paranoia would be dismissed as any other noise had it not been that soon after those sounds broke through the air I heard cop sirens going off...
