Vote of "No confidence" against Nexon America
#1
The Error 38 Cash Shop glitch has not been fixed as of the Cash Shop maintenance and the only thing that was does was the addition of more items. For those of us who do not have the correct amount of items in each category were are variably locked out of the Cash Shop and discriminated against.

This vote is ONLY for people who have experienced the Code 38 glitch and can not do anything about it, such as myself. However, all are still invited to vote in this measure and possibly later vote as to what can and should be done by the community, if at all possible.

So.... how do you cast you're ballot?
#2
What the hell do you mean, discriminated against?
#3
AKA... people who don't buy a lot of NX stuff... or none at all that can't get the correct number of items per slot to regain access.
#4
I voted neutral since this error/glitch hasn't affect me (yet?), regardless there isn't much we could do to punish Nexon anyways.
#5
We could stop buying Nx Cash...

That's not really discrimination.

The problem with boycotting is that not every single player would participate meaning they would still gain some sort of profit and our boycott might even go unnoticed by Nexon.
#8
Useless thread imo; not like it will impact anything.

I'm sure Nexon is slowly trying to fix this problem and the only thing you can do is wait it out.
#9
Its been done before. It always have failed. /end thread
#10
And how long do we wait? Till more people get the error? Till people can't train? Can't boss? When? Seriously, when? We sink money into this game and can't even use it, so when do we say enough is enough?

Yes, Nexon is slow to answer the problems they have only because they move so fast they never fix anything and only compounds problems making existing ones worse.

So realistically, when will Nexon fix this? Again, wishful thinking on your behalf to get it done, but until Nexon gets the message to move faster then nothing is getting done.
#11
What can you do to punish Nexon, really?

Already buying NX Cash for you is useless, and the best way (hopefully) to get a corporation to haul ass is to attack its pocketbook. So due to Nexon's own glitch they are hurting themselves. I'm not understanding why or how you can hurt them more than they are hurting themselves already.
#12
Do u really think Nexon WANTS this CS glitch? It's weakening their own profits because players cannot purchase NX items. This glitch started on Black Friday sale but was fixed in a recent patch and is now back again btw.
#13
Then maybe Nexon America needs to get their act together and fix things rather than break them as often as they do. Every release they introduce a horde of bugs and only manage to get at least 5 to 10 fixed.

Problem is we've been in a malestrom race against KMS to catch up with them, they aren't even slowing down to fix anything at all.

I know Nexon doesn't want this CS glitch, but geez... how long does it take to fix one bug or at least extend the lifespan of people's NX items until the glitch can be repaired? Don't forget Nexon also advertises heavily with in-game ads too.
#14
Why does this thread remind me of http://www.southperry.net/showthread.php?t=36290? Except maybe it's the other way around this time.

This thread is useless, futile, and a waste of everybody's time.
#15
Is there a reason why we keep going around in circles every time something fails?
#16
People want answers and each time we ask Nexon a question, they sidestep, and try to prove something completely invalid and off topic.

This Cash Shop maintenance was a prime example:

Community: Fix Error 38!
Nexon: We're having a Cash Shop maintenance and it might get repaired.
Community: About *&^%ing time!
Nexon: We added new items to the Cash Shop during maintenance.
Community: What about fixing Error 38?
Nexon: What's Error 38?
#17
I've said it before and I'll say it again. In fact, I'll quote myself.

But oh wow that's dedication O_o

I doubt Nexon will have an emergency patch for this though. I mean, they still need to test and verify that this is valid. Along with what their agenda is for today (or tomorrow), this would be a side job. Plus, fixing it and seeing if it causes another glitch by doing so.

In other words, I wouldn't count on this being fixed before the next patch. Possibly by February though, if this checks out.

Yes, they could be working slow in our opinion, but are they really? I don't know but I think it's wrong to assume that they know everything about this game and can fix it as soon as we hope. The way i see it is that unless you know the DIRECT cause of it, and not just data/experiments pointing to one area, you can't fix the issue at hand. Yes, sometimes it works, but one example where it doesn't work too often is in Medicine. I know technology and medical issues are two totally different areas, but in a way they can relate when dealing with something you want to correct.

If anyone here watches House, they can see that "fixing" one problem brings up many more until they find out what's truly wrong. Same situation here, I believe (but with computers and not patients).

Maybe I'm just overly optimistic, but I have confidence that Nexon will fix this. Hell, a lot of high level players use the Cash Shop and it's them that bring in the majority of Nexon's income. I doubt they'll leave this broken for another month or two.

Since when did Nexon say they would fix Error 38 this maintenance?
I remember them saying it in a prior one, but as I said before, they found a place where it "could" have happened and possibly fixed it. But it wasn't the location of the real problem.
#18
I just wish Nexon had the huevos to take negative criticism better than they do. Someone points out a flaw and asks for a repair, even nicely, and Nexon gets all butthurt or ignorant of the matter.
#19
Nexon never said this maintenance would fix error 38.
They just said they're having a CS maintenance.
The community collectively wished it would fix that error, but, there are no miracles.

It's like people who get mad at Nexon for failing to deliver a "promised" Masteria update, when they never promised one; we invented it all by ourselves based on some out-of-context bit of artwork, and worked ourselves up into believing it "must" be coming.

As for your suggested boycott: are you trying to say you are still buying NX, even while locked out of cash shop, and need everybody to vote "no confidence" in order to stop?
Me, I'm not "punishing" Nexon. It's just what us mothers like to call "natural consequences". Their incompetence is preventing me from spending the NX I already have, so naturally I have no need to purchase any more.
#20
ITT:Jamie saying how she isn't happy again with NEXON.

Any rebellion you start against NEXON will be ignored just an fyi. Southperry's community is so small compared to the ms population so this will do little to nothing.
