New equipment / skill book / other consolidation

Would drops from mobs introduced with BB be appropriate here? Seeing as we didn't have a starting idea of what they dropped to begin with.

Spent a ton of time at dark wyvs.

drops so far:
110 pirate boots
110 thief overall
120 mechanic arm
90 theif claw
100 xbow (gold)
100 theif shoes (red)

I'm fairly certain they DO NOT drop the 110 pirate overall unless someone has a SS that says otherwise.

The book does clearly say 'Only available to 4th job Warriors' so I'd wait for proof otherwise to see if it works on BMs. After all, the Berserk books are mislabeled Dark Fog but still say they're for Dark Knights, and still work on dark Knights.

That's probably a mistranslation of Dark Force as Dark Fog.

Prior to the patch on Monday, the SE30 book I had was labeled 'Only available to ... and Wild Hunters', and now it says 'Only available to 4th Job Archers', and I'm pretty sure Stance had Battle Mages listed as well, since a guildie was looking for it pre-Resistance, and told me that.

Edit: Bleh, of course this is the one thing I don't SS, but it wasn't exactly something special.

Either way, there's a 4th skill that the Stance mastery book will work on listed in the data, which starts with 322, so I'm pretty sure that's the battle mage stance.

You could always go the Google Chrome way and "Translate this page."

I'll be updating this in a bit. I have to sort out what is and isn't appropriate. I might remove the mastery book section and replace it with a link to other threads with the same information.

Also, Ataun, is that rare? I had like 8 of them before BB but I was told it was worthless so I NPC'd them all.

Not sure what you mean! All of those random new level 10 hats? I think that would be better suited for another thread because they're essentially useless.

Been owling the FM since the 24th with no luck. According to inven, Blood Harps, Griffey, Cerebes and Oblivion Monks are the monsters dropping the book.
I'd expect they are worth quite a bit now with the WHs running about. It provides a significant damage boost.
