Strangely enough, theres a new NPC of Nineheart who looks exactly the same as he does now. He talks about the peace of the Maple world, there's only one way and 'they' must be stopped, and how if he could undo 'all that'.

All Cygnus summons are mobs now, so I guess Ifrit tagged along. Maybe the instructors summon their little elemental during the fight? Irena (that is the BW one, right? Or is that Oz?) would just summon that and Ifrit. I wonder if the WA transforms...

But yeah, there's obviously something up with them. You don't just go from good to evil that fast.. nor does anyone normal have a purple aura around them with darkened eyes. Even Lady Cygnus doesn't look.. normal. But.. it was obvious that the Black Wings had some sort of plan, why they needed to get through to Lady Cygnus so bad.

Also, WHY WASN'T IT A LEVEL 160 PURPLE SNAIL. WHY A SLIME.

Nineheart is a good guy or so his NPC text would lead you to believe. He says something like There is only one way and they must be stopped for peace etc etc..

Nineheart = Magnificent Bastard. He either put himself as a sort of leader of the Cygnus to control their power of something, or he made some type of mistake and either made the real Cygnus and Knights evil, or made evil clones of them.

I have to say I haven't been so looking forward to an update in a long time. Hopefully they'll do the future and Cygnus and her Knights justice.

Oh my god. I can't wait to find out more about the story and stuff. It all looks amazing so far.

those monsters are friggin HUGE. o_O

I like how when the monsters die, they turn into the monster they resemble before they disappear. Towards the end the player kills an Ereve mob, and during it's death animation, it reverts back into the puny mob, then disappears.
