Advanced at level 11 (not enough STR at 10) so also missing SP
It couldn't wear level 20 gear until 21 because it had too little str so I quit it from damage issues. Started a Spearman, went with the dex=2x level and it was still much stronger.


This was in beta so I can't say what the exact skill build was, you can guess it was not ideal though.

My Ice Wizard was my first Global character, it's normal luk with a regular 1st-2nd job build.

Skipped Improving Max MP Increase, maxed Magic Claw and Energy Bolt.

Got to about level 22 then I totally ran out of money for potions and quit.

My worst (and first) is my lvl 50 fighter. He has 9 int and luk, some points in hp, 70 dex, advanced at level 11 went powerstrike first then hp increase, and other general failures.

Started with a warrior. I advanced at level 11 or 12 since I didn't have enough STR at level 10. I couldn't wear my level 20 gear till like level 22. I had like 1x INT and 2x LUK, and only like 3x DEX. I also added some HP and MP...

18 Power Strike, 1 Slash Blast, 13 Improving HP Recovery, 10 Max HP increase, etc. I restarted at level 26 because a friend I had made told me to (and I'm so grateful that he did). It is now level 28 because I used the Thanksgiving quests to get some free exp daily for it.

My FP mage. 15 strength, 17 dex, maxed magic guard and MP increase at the end of second job. ._.

My first character was a warrior. I first screwed up by deciding at Lv9 that I'd rather be a Warrior instead of Bowman. Of course, instead of restarting the character I decided to keep levelling until I had the right stats for one. This meant that I did the advance around Lv12ish. This was back in late 2005, so of course the skill points were lost.

Then I didn't listen to everyone and put all of my points into STR. Surprisingly, I made it to Lv27 before deciding to start over on it.

First char was a thief..quit at level...16 LOL (now it's a mule).
It was a normal build cause my boyfriend helped set me up. But I did put one point into str even though he told me not to...(I was reading the descriptions and I thought str would make me stronger xD).

Never maxed MP Increase (I was scared of the skill for some reason since I didn't understand it at the time) and 11 points in Energy Bolt.

A Hunter with 1X INT, 2X LUK, more than 3 points in Blessing, and points in Final Attack. I gave the account to my friend and it's banned now I believe. Good riddance.

Yup. I put all AP into HP. I also got my second character stuck in Sleepywood. I couldn't get out because I'd die immediately. One hit and I die. So, guess what I did? I sent a ticket to Nexon, they told me to use the Taxi. Then I got all pissed because there was no Taxi in Sleepywood. Good old days.

Two friends from school got me to play maple story but they didn't give me any tips or even tell me what world they were in. So I started in Bora, while they were in Scania.
