We are very proud to announce that IGN.com has given the Vindictus team an early holiday gift by naming Vindictus the Best Free to Play MMO of 2010! While we plan to continue to improve the game and create the best online gaming experience possible, we are very grateful that one of the industry’s most well-respected news outlets has given recognition to all of the hard work our entire team in Korea and the United States has put into Vindictus.

We also believe that a lot of credit goes to you: Our players. The Vindictus community has been instrumental in helping us putting together the most action-packed online experience ever!

As a way of showing our thanks and to continue spreading the holiday cheer, we will be holding some special events this weekend!

The events will run as follows on both Saturday, December 18 and Sunday, December 19:

Double EXP to all characters!

• 3:00 PM – 5:00 PM Pacific (6:00 PM – 8:00 PM Eastern):
Free Boat Rides for all dungeons!

Haven't had to spend a dime yet. Don't ever plan to. Nexon's vindictus team is pretty generous with CS items too. They give a free item each day for a month, each month. (so far)

The half that plays more than 3 hours per day, excluding free token events.

Oh whoops I forgot you could buy Crimson Tokens .

I always liked the token system. Get's the players to learn a little self control and time management. I mean the stats from CS equips are negligeable so I really don't see how this game is NX reliant at all (yet). And technically, all you have to do to grind is run any boat, kill everything then purposely die to farm exp.

I've made it all the way to 42 in Vind without spending a cent on the game. I've yet to see any reason to spend NX on the game unless you're trying to power level an alt with Plat Tokens or whatnot, but even then, you can buy the "NX Tokens" from others with in-game currency through the Marketplace.
