Why I like Big Bang (gasp!)
#1
I started playing Maplestory during closed beta - I even have a mark of the beta on one of my old accounts. Leveling has always been hard; I remember training at the lava maps near zakum because they were the best exp; I remember watching "ks wars" at yetis; I remember vying for squid and gobi maps with friends. I thought I'd die going from 62 to 70 on my xbowman, but strafe was worth it!

I daresay I've experienced everything the game has to offer. I even hacked for a year or two - I'm not ashamed of it. Nothing wrong with playing smarter than harder.

I'm of the opinion that Big Bang is easily the best update the game has ever had. Leveling is actually easy now at the lower levels! I started a warrior on Kradia and after 6 days, I'm a level 88 white knight right now. I'll probably be level 90 some time tomorrow, and I hope to make it to 100 a few days after that. My guild is full of people who are happy about how fast they can level. People with mains in the 180's who are delighted with the new exp curve. Hell, I'm actually excited about training because of how fast it goes! I can loot equips from monsters - and I often do - and I can use them. Kradia's not that full, so I don't have to be a damage whore, which means I find new equips to wear all the time. Items are dropping so much I found a Leomite that was 110 w.att clean (due to potential) for only 4M, which I scrolled to 116/3 (4 slots left, friend who scrolled it for me logged off before I found more scrolls =P). There's no more 2x, so I don't have to compete with people who can afford to literally throw money at Nexon. Family rep doesn't do as much anymore, so I can abuse it all the time because juniors are easier to find.

I'm sick of high level people shoving their disgusting opinions down my throat. "My exp got worse, and I was promised good exp! How DARE they make it harder for a small minority of the population in a leveling branch hallmarked by difficult leveling experiences?! I DEMAND they reverse it all because it's worse for me, and I don't care if it got better for so many other people. This is a travesty! Look at all of these bugs!!!"

Oh, and, for the record, I d/c'ed once since BB came out and while some of the lag has been annoying, it's a minor price to pay.

So you conclude Big Bang is great for the low levels but not so much for the higher ones. Join the club. xP
The dc issues aint bad at all, its just when you try to boss that it shows its ugly arse.

Oh, about oppinions and such. You do not like it when you get to hear others, yet you blurt out your own? Does not compute.

I've been d/cing a lot less, so kudos to Nexon for that. And I couldn't care less about leveling difficulty on my AM; I'll probably never play it again.
No, what bothers me is the new accuracy formula. I play a sniper. A sniper. So accuracy is kind of a big thing for me. Because I'm a sniper. I should be able to hit things from very far away with ease. Naturally, when I miss something solely because it's one level away from my own level, I'm a little miffed. At the end of the day, that's really what gets me the most. That goddamned accuracy formula.

Inb4 a bonus that reduces the % acc lost from level difference.

Yeah, right here shows your biased ignorance. High levels are training twice as hard to gain the same amount of SP as low levels who's leveling speed enhanced 3x their normal speed. Yay for you because you couldn't accomplish anything past 13x pre-bb, and judging by your hacking confession essentially admitted to lacking even the attention span for that.

In fact I find your entire opinion unresearched and simplified to your handicapped perspective. Essentially everyone 14x now has nothing that gains them more than 15% an hour. Although our exp maybe slightly faster than the pre-bb 1x, it does not make up the post-bb lack of 4x, hell 2x. No one is asking for it to be reversed, although the new map concepts are pretty crappy, but we would like our experience at least changed to the former.

45 min x 1.2x = (drum roll) 54 min worth of exp, totaling 9 min less of training per day. HOW is this better!?!?!?!?

EDIT: My I/L's training got significantly slow (expected). My NL gets much nicer exp but it's still not as good as pre-BB 2x through rep though. As for finding juniors, have you no friends?
