If you think gMS is bad...

We understand your frustrations regarding the recent irregularities and problems faced while playing MapleSEA, and sincerely apologise for the inconvenience caused to all players.
Recent in-depth investigations have revealed that we were under attack from China and to combat this problem, we have since upgraded our system and have taken the following measures:


1. Consulted and engaged experts from various technological and gaming fields
2. Blocked all IP addresses from China to prevent further hacking
3. Upgraded and reinforced the security systems within our game servers

There are probably Chinese hackers in the US too so just to make sure people don't confuse where they're from

AsiaSoft is still better than Nexon.

I'd bet she's been playing for a while because you don't normally see people paying over $200 at a time but I guess it possible to spend $1,400 on a game you haven't been playing very long.

I have seen more ppl complaining about GMS lagging than MSEA lagging in the last few month. (and I DO lerk on MSEA forums sometimes)

I loled at the chinese hackers from china xD, well that sucks for mSEA.

This is why people are majoring in Computer Networking, you can make big bucks doing network-security and stuff to prevent these types of things, but people will always find ways to hack. >_>

I think Asiasoft is also at fault here. In both occasions, when the lagging and hacking starts, Asiasoft is in active denial mode. They throw the blame on Maplers.

For example :
Maplers ISPs are to blame when the real problem is with the ISP MSEA hosted on have load balancing problem.
Maplers are accused of being infected with keylogger, and careless with their account/password info, when the real problem is because of hackers from China.

By the time they finally admit the problems, MSEA have already become a ghost town.

Oh snap... I feel disgusted that I'm Chinese myself when people from my country are the source of this problem...

ON TOPIC: So you're telling me GMS doesn't have this kind of hackers as well not from China I mean but from another country?
And will I still be able to play in MSEA? I live in aus despite I'm Chinese =\. Got a nub account there.

They shouldn't block you because you are Chinese, they blocked IP addresses from China.
