However, I think my thread is starting to spawn things this site should not be partaking in. SW isn't our enemy. It's a good site - it's just been ruined by horrible, horrible stupidity and terrible management. Southperry isn't one of those sites that needs bait accounts to sign up, spam advertisements and get banned. We're better than that. In time, everyone that's anyone will know about Southperry.

Concerning forum bashing

It seems to be in vogue around here to bash other forums, namely for Sleepywood being "full of elitist pigs" and Basilmarket to be "full of idiots." Well, I'm not having that.

There is a very diverse community of people here from all sorts of other forums - Mapletip, Basil, and Sleepy alike. When you bash someone's home forum, it does not reflect well on the site and the maturity level of its users. Since I am very against forum bashing, anyone found bashing another forum will be hit with a trolling infraction.

When you insult Sleepywood for being full of elitist pigs, you insult me because I once was a part of Sleepywood. Was I an elitist pig? Nope, sure wasn't. When you insult Basilmarket, you insult everyone here at these forums who also go to basilmarket.

Now if you have a legitimate reason for disliking a site ("I don't like Sleepywood because they banned me over a dumb violation"), that's fine. There's no problem with that. But if you say that "Sleepywood has assholes for moderators and I hate Adura" you're going to get hit with a trolling infraction. Be careful of what you say about other forums, because that does reflect on Southperry!

All images run through a watermarking script that watermarks when possible without ruining the original picture. I do the best I can. I could put a watermark BELOW the image, but I'm sure you know how easy it would be to remove that watermark?

You could like, add a small blue banner on the image with Southperry.net labeled on it, but I guess that would only make the image ugly. I remember some other site doing this, it had watermarks like that on the 4th job skill frames.
