SP Reset? Read here now.

FIX EVANS DAMMIT! I CAN'T EVEN TRY OUT MY NEW POWER LET ALONE TRAIN !

Soo my Sader is screwed then. Shes on the same acc as my pirate.. oh not too mention my Aran as well....what the hell is that Nexon? one reset...? A Surprise.. surprise my arse more like you forgot. Well guess ill reset my pirate do her skills and quit forever yay!


Edit: after reading it again maybe I'm being hopeful but isn't it saying giving 'one full SP reset per account' and in some ways it could be read as resetting the SP of the whole account?...It's nexon though no point getting my hopes up

So in fact 1 SP reset per account is enough for me. But it's not good enough for everybody. And I would be much happier if I did get a full reset on all my characters.

Same thing happened for me actually. The only screw up was completely my fault because I forgot about CO and could have maxed more skills.

But just because a few people got lucky doesn't excuse them trying to pull the wool over everyone's eyes.

I think every 4th jobber needs a reset. There are new low level skills for every class. For instance, on all warriors, you get Iron Body. But, you can't max it because you maxed PowerStrike and SlashBlast 5 years ago. I dont use those attacking skills, but i wouldnt mind the extra defense now. All gunners are completely boned. They kept all the old 2nd job skills, then added 1 new awesome skill you HAVE to get (the Critical one). But, no leftover points in 2nd job because all the old skills are still there.

I just don't understand why this concept is so hard for them, to 'give'. Every other game i can think of lets you reset skills/points for free, or for such a cheap fee it doesnt really matter. Cash shop SP resets have been a laughing stock since they were created.

I wouldn't pay to get a full SP reset. I think that would be greedy on Nexon's part. All the other games to implement Big Bang have given a full SP reset, why do Nexon America have to be money hungry bastards about it? Every character should get a reset or the option to reset there skills make it a freaking automatic quest icon. so no one misses it. Sure the light bulb is annoying, but people see it..

Almost 24 Hours since Big Bang's release and what a 24 it has been, F2s F5s, F4s and a lot of F7s, great job, still no notice that they even know what's going on.

Their developer meet up is this weekend assuming the people actually get to ask questions, and the people asking them are actually sensible, I'd imagine they'd all be along the lines of.

"So Nexon, why so ghey?"

Well they were "trying to keep it a secret" so I'm not even sure if we're gonna get it today at all. And shame on you all for expecting swift action from Nexon.

all bishops who went the traditional route and had 11HA are now stuck with 10 spell mastery instead of 20. on top of that, bishops who had max gen and 0 big bang added with 0 points saved are now officially screwed in terms of training at a decent rate, not to mention not being able to max magic mastery.

i luckily had 30 sp saved (originally was going to max gen and mw, i had 10gen and 19 mw), so i can add a few more points to bigbang and magic mastery, but i wanted to reset all my mana reflection points so i can add them to infinity, big bang, or gen. not to mention my crippling lvl10 spell mastery -___-

This "Surprise" is something that looks like it would come from Family Guy.
Until I see a post or a few dozen that they gave the reset to players, I'll go back to enjoying Cataclysm =/

I'm not going to complain much though. Only one of the characters I still play needs the reset. All my other characters I don't give a f'uck about anymore. I was lucky being a Paladin, since so many of our skills got reset that it barely even matters, lol.

Yeah I called it. No SP resets were basically a HUGE disaster for Nexon, and whomever thought they could try and fish for more SP resets through CS was severely wrong.

No way would they spend this much PR and time into this major of a patch and basically make it useless for 3/4 of the playerbase.

This should totally go on fail blog.
Maplestory Nexon really needs to take a lesson from other games, and even games in there own company. Like DFO, if they just followed it's example, this Epic FAIL wouldn't of happened. And what I mean is the sp resets, the perm avatars, etc.
Why hasn't anyone inserted the Expectations reality pic yet? Man I wanna punch someone... WHERES JUSTEN BIEBER!?!?

Personally I believe that nexon did not intend on surprising us, and she just made that up to cover up the fact that nexon caved in.

Also, I find it funny that they have not yet addressed the issues with Evans and a few other class' SP.

That post made it sound like "Oh, that pomegranate we done was just a joke! We were trying to surprise our players and make them think we've made some sort of ridiculous decision on not giving them something very important and essential for their characters!"
Also, one per account? They're just thinking thateveryone got barely one character on their accounts. That ridiculous post from her can just be about the Hot Time event, who obviously gives one SP reset and can only be obtained once per account.

I'm totally getting the feeling that Nexon's just trying to cover their asses from that post.

It just has that "Quick! Do something to appease the players!!" vibe.
