NX Expiring?

Hello friends. I may have a potential issue on my hands, but I need to make sure that it's actually there before I do something about it. Here's the deal:

In January/February 2010, I MTS'd all of my Shadower's gear to move on to the obviously superior DFO. I still have a quite a bit leftover and have been pondering on whether or not it will all go away this upcoming Jan/Feb. I remember hearing, a long while back, that people had their small amounts of leftover NX expire after it had been sitting there for one year. A friend told me that since this NX was obtained via MTS that it will not expire, and that only Paypal NX expires after one year.

Just need to know for sure. Please halp

Well, if you don't mind the tax, I think you could account juggle the NX.

Is there anything in particular you're waiting to use it on? If not I'd just use it to be safe, never know with NEXON.

Coincidentally, I recently received this e-mail from Nexon:

We thank you for your continued support of our games.

This is to notify you that your unused NX on your Nexon Passport may be subject to expire.
After reviewing your account, Nexon America has learned that your NX balance on your Nexon Passport <accountname> has remained unchanged for over a year. You can avoid the expiration by either charging your account or purchasing an item in the game using NX, but if no new transaction of NX occurs by December 31th of 2010, your remaining 20 NX on your <accountname> account will expire.

From this I gather that if you've been using your NX for DFO you should be ok, even if you haven't used it all up.

Yeah, I received one of those emails on an old account a while ago. As long as the balance changed some time in the past year, your NX will not expire.
