Patch v0.60: CWK AutoBan Glitch
#1
I was on my shadower in ch1 this afternoon when passing through the middle of the first map of the Phantom Woods.
I DCed instantly after seeing trees, money sacs, and Jr. wraiths being sucked onto one platform. At first I thought it was just my graphic glitching, so I relogged on from ch1 and tried to get to CWK to train on the Windraiders (exp: 400 into 800). I DCed again after seeing the monsters being VACed into the same spot. This time when I tried to relog it said I was banned for one day.
I checked the ranking and notice lot of people disappearing from it. So other people probably also got banned from this glitch.

So I made a video on my friend's mule account:

Ouch. Atleast (I think) it's only a one day ban. Tried sending a ticket to Nexon, with the video included?

Have you sent this to Nexon yet?

Some things to note if you are thinking of sending this to Nexon. Dunno if they'd actually watch the vid though. All the extra stuff between logging in and your entry to Phantomwood Forest needs to be cut out as its irrelevant. Also, you don't need to be in Bera or in Ch1.

BTW topic has been created already.

I don't understand why Nexon even keeps implementing auto-ban. Ever since Hak it's been catching significantly more legits than hackers/botters, completely defeating its own purpose. Rather than banning legits for reasons none other than Nexon's faulty programming, GMs should more actively scan maps for signs of hacks and bots. It's been especially ridiculous lately; Bowmen at elderwraiths, people who haven't even seen Bigfoot, people who go to CWK and mini-dungeons are all getting banned for no good reason. This has to stop.

I hate to advertise, but I propose that everyone logs a ticket regarding what I just mentioned, without including the word "ban" (to avoid auto responses), because really, there is no purpose for an auto-ban that only targets legit players.

in SEA the GM's toy with hackers >_>
and make funny/intelligent notices when they go on banning sprees
also they dont flood the chat box they do a thing that scrolls across the screen telling you what they were banned for =\

The way it's working right now, I'd rather have it removed, but I see what you're getting at. Autoban is the most effective way to cut down on massively leaked, publicly available hacks. Also, improved GM activity could also help fill in the gaps that autobans don't catch.

Log a ticket to notify Nexon of the problem. This'll have to be a top priority for them.

Also, generally not a good idea to Fraps yourself entering your log-in information.

Top Priority? I think not. As soon as they noticed a dip in Gacha ticket sales they fixed Shrine Gacha within a day....

It's not very hard to add/delete item IDs to a Gachapon. For the autoban, they have to identify what's causing it first of all.

Does anyone know if Bellocan was affected by this? I went on a mule to CWK and was all over the maps. The worse that happened was a room with no portal to get out.

Is this still happening? I was running around CWK all night yesterday with no idea this was going on.

Does anyone know what actually causes the autoban.

Oh no Doryue. Don't get banned.

Advice to everyone would be to avoid Crimsonwood until the things are over.

It's like the Hak autoban glitch. Not everyone will be affected by it.
