Hmmm I already predicted the Mastery Books were gonna come from Gachapon after 1 year when 4th job arrived...
And now it finally happened, 9 months after the release of 4th job!

Well I can't say it's bad... I personally hate skill books, they ruin the game for me... I can't max the skills I want for like 6 months now... They're just NOT in-game... They all get bought out of my server to Scania where all books are worth more then in other servers...

Nexon, disable Mastery Book transfers with Character World Transfers please? This stuff really RUINS Maplestory...

Now, I hope -ALL- books will come out of Gachapon, and LOTS of them too... Brandish30 / Triple Throw 30 / Bstep30 / Assassinate 30 / Sharp Eyes 20 ... let them mass come out of Gachapon please... I totally had it with these mastery book droprates... Let me -play- Maplestory please, not -pay- Maplestory...

So yeah, unfortunatly, this is a good thing....

However, Nexon could also have MASS increased the Mastery Book droprate from offcourse... But since some books simply don't drop from monsters, but are from guildPQ bonus only, Gachapon is a better thing for them...

You're right, those items have been released already.. I guess they just got lazy and decided to clump them together here... its not the first time that they put "old gach" items in a "new" update.

@person above: You want to play maple story, not "pay", yet you want the books to come from gach? That doesnt exactly make sense...

On another note: Has anyone gotten a masterybook from gach yet? >_> *is still wanting confirmation whether its only TT 20 or other books as well*

But to be on topic, why would anyone mind it if they came from gach? Like HT runners don't make enough money simply selling the pendants/eggs @_____@ I know of groups making 2.1b!!!! every week by selling pends/eggs >____>

in windia the price is 1/2 that of most servers, yet our apple prices and pot costs, etc remain the same. we sell pend+egg for 375-400m and books like MW20 are a very low 200m. the profit is marginal in our HT runs and is balanced simply by frequency and efficiency of runs. no one is forcing ANYONE to buy their skills as anyone--yes if i as a flipping MAGE can earn her pend/egg/skills, then ANYONE can earn them. but maple these days is all about NX and RL cashflow that dictates your buying power in the game. i'd much rather see someone support their server by purchasing skills from the top levels who run than by giving nexon a dollar for a book. what's next? zakum helms and HT pendants gonna pop out too?

Whoa whoa, back the pineapple up here. You want them to come from Gachapon, because you want to play maplestory, and not pay for it? Last time I checked, someone HAS to pay pimento Nexon in order for Gach to become an option, whether you personally MTS or not, SOMEONE pays for maplestory. On the other hand, you can hunt for your books, which, last time I checked, can be done by PLAYING the game, no matter where they come from, there has been but one area that was accessible for free players, and the only P2P area was made F2P not long after, so there's no real reason you'd HAVE to pay money for these books.

So, I think you're confused about the whole point of them putting good stuff in gachapon.


P.S., lower drop rates also mean you will spend more time playing, which is what you want to do, right?

yes if i as a flipping MAGE can earn her pend/egg/skills, then ANYONE can earn them.

1: Because you're lucky enough to get into HT runs, much less as a Mage, does NOT mean everybody can, and it's ignorant as hell to believe so.

2: Some people are limited by their computer and/or connection from HornTailing, I suppose you think they should just do without, right?

If it stopped dead the Helmet/pendant selling then I hope it comes tomorrow. Helmet/pendant sellers are a scourge on maple. People who do it should be banned.

Well see it from a different perspective...

Some people will mass-gach anyway, because they just not smart enough to gain mesos in Maple without paying Nexon. And instead of the scrolls that they normally get, they now get Mastery Books. And more Mastery Books = price dropping = good.

And since I'm smart enough to play maple and make mesos without paying Nexon for this, I/me/myself, don't have to pay Nexon for anything in real money!

Just let other people do spend their own real money for me, i'll pay them with pixel items in return!
