I went to Gamestop to buy it the 29th but they said they pushed it back to Dec. 1st.
So I'm going to go pick it up tomorrow and play it.

Got it today. Won't be playing it for a while though. Makes me very sad.

The tutorials are a pain in the ass. Just a lot of really boring stuff. I think that the whole setting Djinn thing seems a little unnecessary but I'm still at the beginning and can see how they might be abused later. I think that feature was in the old ones to but I never used my djinn so...

Graphically it's beautiful. I'm always on the lookout for something to play with which is fun. A little disappointed that there's been nothing to use GROWTH on yet. Scratch that, found a plant

Also, Isaac is a smug son of a peach.

My friend who played the game in Japanese told me this one didn't really innovate at all and it's basically the same games with better graphics. Are they correct?

I enjoyed the quality of the originals even though they were pretty generic as far as turn-based JRPGs go, so even if it is, I'll play it anyway, but I just want to know if I should expect the game to be very different in any aspect.

Sarah, the Djinn are automatically set in the order you acquire them if you don't bother assigning them, but your stats/skills/summons are COMPLETELY based on how they are set, so it's a little bewildering to think that you didn't use them at all.

What are you not getting? I clearly meant that I never used the djinn in BATTLE. Like the summoning them pomegranate or whatever. I did obviously use the magic that equipping them gave, but that never caused them to reset. Just stuff like whirlwind and cure.

I didn't mean I didn't equip them. I meant that I never selected them for use in battle. This is a very specific statement.

Djinn are awesome. They're waiting...
