Chaos Horntail post BB?

I'm thinking of hosting a weekly Chaos Horntail squad for my friends after Big Bang, and I'm just wondering if there are any significant changes to the boss. None of us have any experience fighting it pre-BB, so I'd also like some information on what to expect. I did do some research already, and I'm just going to ask what I couldn't find here instead of bumping an old thread.

My understanding of the fight:

Down 2 preheads

Start from left side
Kill Leg
Kill Tail
Kill Wings
kill Righ Head
Kill Mid Head
Kill Left Head
Kill Right Arms
Kill Left Arms

Miiddle head does slightly more than 12k of dmg with threaten, so it will kill ranged.


I'd appreciate any other tips anyone might have.

I haven't fought Chaos Horntail, but I don't think that it's any different from regular horntail in terms of killing order.

Look like you didnt read any Cyanne's post with that kill order, kill heads to get zombify while arms still there and seduce ? ...
This is right order: 2 preheads > Leg (left side) > Tail > Wings > Right Arms > Left Arms > Right/Left Head > Mid Head > Left/Right Head

Afaik, post BB cht is same like preBB (if not counting PDR/MDR add, exp, acc/avoid, att/m.att change which make it hit less dmg ?)

I dunno
some ppl used the below sequence.

leg >tail>wings>right head> mid head > left head >right arm > left arm

so anyhow, washing is still recommended post bb to go chaos ht and pink bean
