Has anyone tested whether pirate capsules increase damage for corsairs?

A monster can only be put into 1 state per DOT. It's the same like trying to freeze a monster with 2 people, the new freeze will freeze the monster again, not twice. You can freeze + poison it though, that's why you can put multiple DOT's on a monster -if- the DOT's are from different skills.

But I haven't tested it post-BB though, it's just how maple always worked... But maybe it got changed with BB...Smile

Considering you can hit a monster with multiple DoTs at a time, I don't think it's that unlikely that multiple people using DoTs would be a problem.

Can anyone test Paralyze's damage reduction on mobs?

You just need two 2nd job F/Ps with poison breath. No need to do the 3rd job advancement. poison breath now has 100% success rate as well.

The same skill stacks their DoTs at least once. I would think there is some sort of a limit to the number of DoTs available from multiple people.

e: observed ranges
no def up: 10243 ~ 14996 (9.4 ~ 7.2 pdr)
def up: 6379 ~ 9074 (43.6 ~ 43.8 pdr)

Looks like Combat Mastery is not helping against their def up? Or do non-heroes do way less damage.

Anyway, 2nd SS shows they have less than 10% PDR against me normally.

I think "Ignores Defense" is simply base defense, not PDRate. That's my theory anyways.

338 - 15 (MG) - 15 (MA) - 7 (Bolt) - 20 (Magic Claw) - 10 (MP Boost) - 20 (MP Eater) - 20 (Meditation) - 20 (Teleport) - 1 (Poison Breath) - 20 (Spell Mastery) - 1 (Fire Arrow) = 189 Unused SP.

Observed left over SP: 96.

What? Am I doing something wrong?

I'm gonna go with you hit the extra SP cap and it didn't let you gain more, or because you job advanced so late there was an error somewhere.

What? PDRate is defense. It'd probably be less confusing if people would just start saying defense instead of PDRate all the time.

Just tested, there's still a 255 cap on unspent AP. (now my Spearman's 5 AP behind... meh) But the limit on SP is higher..

Didn't it warn you that you were about to hit the cap? Pretty sure it did for me when I was leveling my Marksman to 200.

Yeah, once you have 200 unused AP it starts warning you, 255 is the most you can have period.
