If it was in your account at 3AM on Monday, and you didn't touch it since, there's no reason for anything to happen to it now.

If you got it after that time, Nexon has to manually restore it after rolling back. Hopefully they don't mess up.

It's anybody's guess what's going to happen to the 5k maple points compensation we got Wednesday.

The notice has been changed slightly:

* 5,000 Maple Points to players who logged in between 3 AM – 3 PM Pacific (6 AM – 6 PM Eastern) on Monday, November 8 or 3PM Pacific (6PM Eastern) Monday, November 8 through 4:15PM Pacific (7:15 Eastern), Tuesday, November 9.

So this compensation replaces the one we already got (that just got rolled back).
Way to be generous, Nexon.

People who logged in Wednesday still get another 5k.

I think I only logged in 4 accounts on Wednesday. I knew we might have another rollback, but didn't think to log in all the rest. Those 4 I actually used o.o
Oh well, at least I should have enough Maple Points on my main, now, to get those hammers for my sword.

Of course, that is only select servers... but still game should be up in 10 hours at latest for the rest of us.


Oh, and looks like loging in to check my duey for the lvl 40 stuffs I sent to alts that could use them while training an alt a week and a half ago again got me another free 30k MP. Not too shabby. By now with the login gifts and maple points I should be about 2/3s of the way through getting all 23 of my alts specific hair and eyes; including color. Granted what's left is the annoying EXP and royal I selected for 4 of my alts.

Once BB hits, at least I'll have some incentive to work on those characters.

There were like, 10-20 times as many hacks and exploits when I joined the game than there are now.

And is this really such bad compensation? I mean, Nexon could give nothing and say "sux 2 b u," but instead they're going to give 10-15k maple points to active players, restore all NX, and make more 2x events. Maybe we'll get another thanksgiving weekend of pure 2x.

I realize since I'm technically unaffected by the new rollback it make sense that I'm not receiving maple points. That's perfectly ok with me. But the rest of this compensation package better be pretty damn good at this point, maple has been down for a long time because once again Nexon can't think critically and apply an exploit to other parts of their game. It happened with the last exploit and it happened again this time. Maybe I'm asking for too much, idk.

I will give them credit, I think they are getting better at handling these things (practice makes perfect?) but there's still a lot of room to improve. Things like making official announcements when you take the game down instead of just leaving everyone high and dry, even if you have to bust out the dreaded tbd it's still better than nothing.

Personally, I'd consider hackers bringing in hundreds of trillions of mesos into the game a little more noteworthy than overnight botters.

Haven't played for weeks, don't plan on playing until Big Bang.

Best decision I've made involving this game.

Games been up for 30 min

Compensation take 2, 73.4k prepaid NX on main account and 10k MP on both accounts. Practically pays off the 90k I bought on Monday.

Not spending any of it just yet in case an exploit comes back for strike 3. Hopefully they actually fixed it AND any other work-arounds that may arise with the solution to it this time 'round.

Can't dual log-in anymore, so hopefully it's safe to play for the time being.
