I trust her on this statement, because she actually came out and directly gave an answer. Also, technically speaking. It would not be wrong in english to refer to Neo Tokyo as "The original Neo City". I'm assuming this is what you were referring to when you said mistakes. It's not a mistake. Neo Tokyo will never be, not for us, time to move on!

No, MSEA only has Neo Tokyo. However, Neo City's content is there.

I wouldn't trust her with a damn thing.

And she's right, we never will. Nexon doesn't want to mess with this kind of stuff. Discrepancy between the two would be very very difficult. How would I know if my buddy or someone in my guild needed help with Neo Tokyo or Neo City? What if they didn't know the difference? I can imagine there would be plenty of frustrated 12-year olds in our playerbase.

Not to mention we would need renamed duplicates of the monsters, NPCs and maps.

And quests. Quests are the final nail in the coffin here. If there are two identical NPCs, how would people know which quest is for which area? "Well sure", you might say, "I'll just look at the NPC name or know that it's filed under World Tour Quests". I'm not saying I wouldn't know, I'm saying would the general population of Maplestory know? Can you imagine how many angry complaints Nexon would get with people saying they went to Neo City and found the NPC, only to find out that he didn't have the quest, and that it was really in Neo Tokyo and they couldn't differentiate? Or vice-versa?

I don't trust her words over the interwebz. I thought she would be a decent correspondent within the maple community that represented Nexon, until she lied about Evan skillbooks not being in the cash shop.

You would have to be pretty dumb to not know the difference. The names of the areas are SO different. Odaiba,Public Park, Akihabara, Shibuya, Rompirigi Mall and Flagship Fox. If you get that mixed up with,Central Town, Bombed City Center, Midnight Harbor, Airbattleship Hermes, and Dangerous Tower then yeah maybe we shouldn't get Neo Tokyo. Not saying you got them wrong I meant the general population.

i wouldnt belive in everything she says (actually in this case i could belive her) but most of the time she just gives some bs txts so you can feel better and stop annoying our loved nexon with your threads. (sad true just look about responses about bans and other things heh)

I will believe her on this but, I gotta say, this is one stupid move from Nexon. We have Neo City so we can't get Neo Tokyo? Replace Neo City with Neo Tokyo. Just how many people you think would complain about we losing Neo City for Neo Tokyo? how many would prefer the paper quest over a storyline thats way more interesting. How many would complain about more high lvl training spots?

It's pretty close to BB-release time. They're obviously gearing up tespia, which is obviously for BB. Hoping for neo tokyo either before or with the BBU is pretty hopeless at this point.
