Not happening. We need to get Magatia before we can get Pirates, and even if Nexon has been improving lately (despite those pineappleing bans), they aren't going to give us Magatia and Pirates in the same patch.

Magatia and Nautilus with Pirates would be a smaller update than full Leafre plus 4th job. Nautilus Port is almost nothing (and exists more as a happenstance because a job can't exist without a "homebase"), Pirate job is comparable to 4th job in scope, and Magatia alone is smaller than Leafre and it's full outskirts.

I meant in regards to the release of Pirates. Magatia brings plot points and new areas to fight (and a PQ), but nothing that Pirates inherently requires.

Well, you can make overalls and gloves and shoes and etc with 5 more than average of one stat, PLUS the possibility of stimulation. That's a pretty big difference between having the maker skill vs not having it. Magatia has awesome training spots for 35~70 compared to the current ones in gms.

The Alchemy skill is not an inherent part of Magatia. It is more than possible that we might not get it when we get Magatia. Korea certainly didn't get it when they first got Magatia.

That aside, and I know I'm repeating myself, but those things are not needed for Pirates. They can help them (as well as all other classes), but they are not needed. Not even maker skill... there is nothing about making equipment that is NEEDED to have this job.

The GMs in bera said something like "Talk like a pirate day" on the 19th, so that could mean 3 things for us.
1) We get pirates on the Wednesday closest to the 19th
2) They announce when we get pirates on the 19th
3) Nothing. D:>
