Do Piece of Time prices go back up since less people can train in ToT?......I hope so becuase the 2.5mil current price in Windia is bull pomegranate

pot's deflated because of the massive hacking wave going on in ToT right now. that and unwelcome weapons > reverse, plus they're tradeable.

Problem is that most of the sellers I've met in fm know that bb is approaching so its difficult
getting good purchases.

A month or so ago, I purchased CL30 and found two books in the fm for 999k ea and
another two for 5 mil. Failed all of them =(.

Now, the only CL30 books are 100+ mil and the seller would think that I'm crazy
offering 5-10 mil for them. =/

Anything that you get now for bb merchanting would most likely be a risk instead
of the popular items such as gun/staff/xbow scrolls and vip weapons.

Btw, is it true that glaze and blaze capsules won't be needed after Big Bang for the full damage on Ice Splitter and Flamethrower?

If I remember right they do the damage the skills say without them. However using them provides a boost in damage. It makes more sense that way in all honesty.

I know that much, but I heard that you no longer need the capsules for the boost in damage post BB.

Let's hope pot drop to 1m. That will benefit more people.
And hope time rock too, sells at 5m.

Maybe thats because no one bothers to pick up Marksman Skillbooks. That was the case in GMS when we first got 4th Jobs. Took me ages to get a MM boost 30 because the people who Zak'd didnt bother looting it. One friend said he dropped like 20 of them

Yes. Most boss books will come from mobs as well after BB. The only book that will be somewhat expensive would be MW30, since that stays boss exclusive. Expect the bookmarket to be similar to now, only most expensive books will be 5 times cheaper at least. Zakum books wont deflate, they are already at rock bottom. Any lower and they wont be worth looting at all. No book from there sell high enough to even pay for 1 apple even if you combine the profit from all the books from a solo run.

While that is true, they still don't drop like etc items. Plus (just in case you didn't know), they no longer drop mastery books.

Wait what? Why would this happen? As far as I know Aran books still drop from Zakum (unfortunately). Besides, zakum will be piece of cake after BB, no?.

I've kept pianus MBs for the past...several years (ex: monster magnet). My mule consume inventories are filled with rare but worthless MBs and...

Maybe theyll go back up in value but mobs will start dropping the lv110 armors so maybe not. Stocking up on MORE elixirs from Nibelung before this comes in case I have to redo the quests to fight it.

At the beginning of BB, SE 20 and 30 were difficult to obtain but not necessarily expensive. The wild hunters came out and they inflated like crazy.
But anywho check out the drop list here and you find out what skillbooks will inflate. Keep in mind what Alex123123 said. Lots of 120s will rise, most wont be able to kill 140+ monsters yet they those are the only monsters that drop certain skills.

Hoarding SE might be a good idea. MM MBs were rare to begin with and I probably won't find a cache in three weeks ._. I wouldn't do that to fellow lolmarksmen anyway...maybe I'll target NL MBs :grin:

Go get your Quest specialist medal if you're close.

Brandish 20 (which turns into Brave Slash 20) was really hard for me to find once Big Bang came out in KMS. I think Brandish 20 is pretty rare even before Big Bang though...

Prolly some of them around from people who farmed for Tornado Spin 20. Will check.

Maple Hero 20 may be a good one to buy and resell. I hear it drops from Blue and Red Dragon Turtles after Big Bang.

MW20 deflated massively once big bang hit, so yeah.

It's about the same in the larger JMS servers (3m a piece); they've shot up hard after potential hit.

One think I can think of: Buy lots of staves and xbows.

People have started doing that since rumors of resistance classes in KMST; a bit late for it ._. Did end up getting more guns and xbows than average from the visitor event; will hold onto them till BB.

Do your Saint Exorcist Medal.

I simply don't have enough equip slots for four more medals...hopefully I can complete it post-BB (and there'll be a "medal" inventory by then.../hahaohwow.jpg)

I believe Mastery Books will stop dropping but Skill Books will continue to drop. Quests to get skills was removed (you start off with the skill when you change jobs).


Thanks for all the good advices I'll start researching mastery book, xbow, stave and gun prices. Might start farming pap for books. Please keep on suggesting things to do while I buy enough owls to fill Hogwarts

The point is to buy cheap and resell for more right now before Big Bang comes, so you have more money made beforehand. Make as much money as you can off of them now while they're still worth something.



Also, what's with this "hyperinflation?" In Keyaki, there's no change in the market since the last time I check a few months ago. It's still super deflated.

That doesn't make any sense. Buying and reselling MW isn't particularly profitable compared to other things you can merchant in the first place, and the risk of it deflating to near nothing in a month just makes it even less worth it.

No, its just that books such as big bang 30/paralyze 30/ chain lightning 30 are shown
by merchants in the fm for 70+ mil and the other players follow suit.
I guess they're worried about being ripped off or something.

Sometimes sellers will have the same books unsold looking for offers and I've seen one carrying
chain lightning 30 for about four days now. -.-

To do before BB: Get a few more levels on my arch mage while I still can. (losing bliz, mobs get 3x HP, losing 2x exp cards, etc.)

Unless you're playing JMS you won't be losing 2x cards when Big Bang comes around.
