Which items should be gone forever?

What type of items have outlived their purpose and are now useless to this game?

My suggestion is that Forging Manuals and Forgers should be removed. Excluding the Weapon Forger from Leafre, I see no use for the other ones. In the past, I'm sure plenty of people relied on forging manuals on making their equipment. But now that the drop rate have increased, it's faster to level, and we can make mesos faster to buy our lvl 40 weapons, I don't see the use of manuals. That's my opinion.

Tis' a bit 'o history in the game. Long gone are the days when you needed to use a forging NPC to make items. Some NPC's are still used for quests and that sort of thing.

I think potential and all broken equipment should be removed from the game permanently. :<


Out lived...? Only forging stuff. The NPCs are only used for ores and minor crap now.

I agree though, the old forging items and NPCs are useless compared to Maker, or even CPQing for your level 40-50 equips.

FORGING. I made my first Thorns when Ludi was released using overpriced Adamantium Plates and Wisdom Crystals. Times were good, as they were rare as hell pre-Ludi, on par with the Evil Wings and the Dark Ritual.

Slightly related, most weapon/armour sellers. They're almost always just copies of each other, and the drop rate of equips pretty much makes them obsolete. Like Nexon just places them there out of habit rather than function, why would the armour seller in LEAFRE sell level 40 equips? It makes no sense. Useful armour sets exclusive to specific towns available/forgeable through such NPCs would be sweet.

Oh, and regular Teleport Rocks. VIP ones are still somewhat useful to an extent as they can go anywhere, but the regular ones were superceded by the fact you can just walk it with virtually no effort at all without paying 500NX. Renaming the "VIP" Tele rocks as regular ones and getting rid of the current "regular" ones wouldn't go amiss.

Well there's the use of etc ---> monster crystal things. I dont see why we should gather 100 monster pieces when we can dissesmble them to get more for a quick buck.

and the same old lvl 40 merchants are pretty useless to me too. Why would high lvl places give low level equipment?

I think they should change the forge NPCs to be more useful with maker, like using them to create better maker items, that could add more interesting attributes, like % hp or stats, and special effects.

Gacha tickets. Not useless, but bad for the market. Normal items are deflating to ground and therefore it's hard to make profit from area bosses and without nx in general.
Idc about gach events, but I would like to get gach stuff from monsters.

I just did the alcasters quest in order to buy all cures, etc. I would have been lost w/o them.

I would prefer the old drop rate and every item had potential on it. Or even a worse drop rate. Too many equip drops and w/o potential they are pomegranate not even worth npcing anymore, if I wanted an equip w/o potential I'd maker it.

Time out what items are you refering too? All mastery books are in gach and i dont see the price going down anytime soon. Equips? Dont we have x10 drop rate on all equips? Gach is mostly for chairs/dark scrolls nothing else.

Just coding it properly would work for me -- but yeah, definitely annoying -- hell just get rid of the lkight bulb system in general
