can anyone verify if the neo city cards are dropping?

So im guessing the Neo City Monsters still arnt dropping their Monster Cards?

I just did the quest today and got nothing. Could have been bad luck but I'm guessing no :/

Really? Back when the book first came out, my focus was on monsters I had trained on back in the day and everyone within that family of monsters. I was hunting gold teeth at the same time for MTS and by the time I found 90 teeth I already had 4 of their cards. On the other hand, after all that time, and 3 hours of farming in the cave before Pianus, I never found a flyeye card.

Granted I suppose everyone has different luck with different mobs. I hate myself for insisting upon only buying cards during that event for monsters I could not go back and get (at that time) because I thought the book was a sign of effort and I should earn all of them. ZMM is just evil.

When I helped a guildmember to hunt 30 gold teeth not that long ago, I also found multiple Miner cards. Luck is all there is to it.

I feel lucky for buying Zombie Mushmom back then. Once I had 5 of each PQ boss at the time I decided I would get others since it would be such a waste.

It's sad this thread will be lacking a use post-BB until they (hopefully) revamp the system. I personally feel they'll get to it eventually, as it was something most MMOs don't actually have. The guild system was renovated afterwords... so here's to the monster book being renovated! (I know they didn't remove the guild system at BB, but it's an essential thing to the game; monster book is not.)

Not a chance. I actually quit a couple months back when I had around 1100 helms but came back just to get this card. Even though I knew my book would just get wiped soon I couldn't just give up something I spent so much time on. It would feel like such a waste. Once I get this card and a few other easy ones I'll be gone for good . And I seriously can't wait for that to happen, and I bet all the Dodo hunters in my server are too, haha.

I got lucky and found a Miner Zombie card while hunting for Gold Teeth once. Coolie Zombies are a different story though.

Hm did I say there was no chance I'd give up looking for the Dodo card? What I really meant to say was f'uck it I don't care, it's not worth it. It's just a stupid card. Finding it would really do nothing for me aside from waste another several hundred hours of my life doing something I hate only because "I spent too much time on it already" Monster book will just be wiped soon, there's no reason to continue. I should just quit now before I collect another 2096 whale helms and find nothing.

At one time, I wanted to collect all the monster cards, then found out some are in level-limited areas and PQs...and now I just collect if any drop. ;P And since I heard that the book will be wiped/taken out at BB, I don't take this seriously anymore :[

I really do want the cards of the monsters affected by the Puppeteer so I know what it says about them...
