Items you would like to see in Maple

List items that maple needs badly...it can be equips, pets and other "cosmetic items", but it can also be functional items.

But that's not it all... I have ran out of ideas, therefore I will make best cosmetic item ideas (equips, pets, mounts, monsters...) into custom items and post them to my custom thread (with credit for the creator of idea).
And maybe one day Nexon will see the thread and steal it to MS.

It's a game. You don't have to do anything you don't choose to do. I'm playing a BW Paladin because I like the aesthetic, not because I have some idea that a Reverse Bellocce can in any way compare to the multitude of weapon options. I'm wearing a purple warrior outfit because I like it, not because it has the best possible stats. I'm willing to invest the extra money to have the gear that looks good with the stats I need, in the end it's no different than buying Cash Shop gear to cover it. It just costs more to use the armor you want to use, if it's less mainstream. I do wear NX outfits but only where they complement my other gear.

Special permanent "Cash Item"-like equipment that can be purchased from NPCs for Meso. Of course, they won't look nearly as nice as those in the Cash Shop. Then they can add stats to most/all Cash equipment to entice people to pay real money, but still have a Cash-less alternative (that doesn't have stats) for those who just want the equips for aesthetic purposes.

This equipment sold in each town would mask regular equipment like Cash equipment, and they will fit the theme of the town they're being sold in. e.g. Those sold in Perion will have a Red Indian theme. Those sold in Ellinia will have a Fairy/Forest theme.

I want the zorro hat. FFS GIVE ME THE ZORRO HAT, MY CHARACTER IS MISSING THAT ONE ITEM TO MAKE ME PERFECT.

I also want an NX item that allows you to upgrade too 3 lines if the item is unfortunately 2. My version of the draw back is, it starts out at a new "rank level" that's "Uncommon" or something. And make it cost like 25k nx.

They're 30 stats and only one pet can be used at a time.

I'm surprised you didn't say the attack pets that KMS has. Those are way more effective on damage ranges than 30 stats. Those 30 stat pets are only good for classes that need secondary stats to wear equipment.

Don't you think the 2-handed swords lvl 70+ fill that role already? Bigger would look silly.

You're lucky that you like the Purple Lucida set. I happen to feel all the Lucidas and Valkyries are ugly. The outfits I like are either under level 70 or overalls, and no amount of money can make those match the potential of a 71+ top+bottom set. So, I am stuck choosing between looks and stats. All I'm asking is that the cash shop enable me to have both. No biggie. But then it's no big effort for Nexon to offer that, either, since all the sprites already exist.

We need a dye-merchant that will take mesos to dye a piece of equipment to change the color of the armor.

Those town themed sets sound nice too. I could make Native American suit for warriors, fairy suit for magicians, gangster suit for thieves, farmer suit for bowmans, but can't think of anything for Nautilus, other than...well pirate outfit.

Summary then. Doombringer: ok. Heaven's Gate: Possibly the ugliest weapon in Maple. Blue Screamer: Looks menacing to me. Devil's sunrise: Awesome. Berserker: It's a huge arse bat made of stone. Beheader: Ugly but indeed menacing. Stonetooth: Can it be bigger and scarier? No. Dragon Claymore: Huge and kind of epic looking. Reverse Nibelheim: Should really rock your boat if you think the Doombringer is frightening. VIP 2-h sword: Big and futuristic. Win.

Most claws look like pomegranate really. Invisilbe claw is all i need, but I do suppose it would be nice with other CS covers for different weapons that actually looked cool instead of funny/corny/cute.

I would like to see that bow used in the artwork of the goggle-wearing archer girl actually exist. It's that golden winged bow with a red jewel on both sides. I'd also like to see a silver/blue version of it too.

I'd also like to see more CS equips that actually look like class armor. Thank god that Archer armor usually have amazing designs anyways...

I have heard that before, but I don't watch mainsteam crap animes so I would not know. I do fail to see how that has anything to do with the disscusion I had with ShiKage though.

Remember that dumb looking flame sword we got from the item contest? I submitted an entry that was too badass for them to ever include in the game.

I do like the majority of warrior armor... level 35, 40, 60, 70, 90, 100 all look ok to me. The Lucida and Valkyrie do win out on being purple though. If I could get an Ice Queen in purple I'd like that. The level 60 set as a whole is still my favourite in the game (Ice Queen, Oriental Helm, Blessing)

The problem I have with higher level sets is that as a rule they don't even color coordinate well. The level 90/100 helms would be okay if I could even get one that matched my Lucida/Valkyrie.
