Christmas-New Years:3-4 or more weeks off. I know my school and others down here have off from the 2ND week of December till the 2ND week of January.

They have called a patch in January a winter patch. One. they have NEVER called a december patch a winter patch. Sure, they have winter themed events, but you're basing your assumption off what they called one patch. And they are going to release Big Bang in three patches. So there would still be a release in December.

I found this reading an article that can be found in the latest article of Nexon in the News (Oct. 8).
Then, I just ripped the video and re-uploaded it, like what other Maple YouTube Uploaders do.

Why wouldn't they spread it out? It's not just when people are going to play, it's when they will buy. I'm willing to bet more people would buy NX if they spread it out over monthly patches, not just one month. If a player were to buy a month 2x card, they could get him to buy 3 instead of just one or two by spreading out the patches.

You really think people are gonna wait a whole month for Wild hunter and Battlemage when KMS got it in 2 weeks from release? Not really. If they want the profit, release part 1, wait for everyone to get used to it. Release WH and BaM right before Chritmas, everyone will spend either the leftover money or wait till after Christmas Day, get their money spend it all on the new classes and then in January once the hype has settled, BAM, Mechanic. Everyone will then rush right to the stores buying up every NEXON game card they can find. Everytime a new class comes out Walgreens and CVS are sold out of NEXON cards. I have a friend who's the manager at the CVS store and he'll save a couple for me, so trust me he would know when people would buy x amount of cards.

Didn't they say they would release it over three patches like in KMS? So that means either Nov/Dec/Jan, Dec/Jan/Feb or Jan/Feb/Mar.

And there's other evidence for a November release. The fact we have the poll intended nearly purely for hype now, and not in november. The release of a trailer for Big Bang. When has nexon ever released a trailer for a patch that's two months away?

Pirates trailer was released the patch after the trailer. Same with cygnus. And Arans. And Evans. And Dual Blades. True, they were all released online and not at press conferences, but I really don't think Nexon would let something like this hype up for pretty much two and a half months.

OK Kanbaw I can agree with you on A LOT of your points. After thinking it over you can tell me if you agree with this or not. We KNOW Ulu is coming in November correct? With that being said. It's possible to have part one in Novemeber. Even if the patch is on November 30th it is STILL in November correct? Then that could set up Wild Hunter and Battlemage to come out right before Christmas. Plus I don't think a lot of people buy NX cards on Black Friday..ok so you can tell me if you agree wit h this or not. IF Big Bang IS in November we're looking at a VERY VERY late release. Sort of like Evan being a April(or March) update on the very last day.

Kinda sad when they say it's comming soon as if it's 2 weeks from now, only to have them hint at perhaps 2 months instead. =(

Can't wait my guess is 2nd week of December.. even though it's not technically winter yet, but everyone thinks "December" when you say "Winter" so who knows. Hopefully Big bang will include...

I'm just sad because they show all the Black Wings standing alongside the Black Magician...all except one. What happened to Puppeteer... ;o;

I'm guessing it will probably come out either after Christmas/Holiday events, replace said event or maybe even come out in November at the earliest. My best bet is on January though :v
