New payment option!
#1
After all these years you can now use your credit card directly to charge NX from the Nexon site. Only downside is the NX will be considered credit and not prepaid, but I still want to call this beneficial to both Nexon and clients, especially those of us that live outside USA.

+1 Point for Nexon.

I can't find a link but there was a huge security hole in Nexon Japan's billing system that let hackers dupe the system with fake credit card numbers. Here's to hoping NexonAm doesn't make the same mistakes.

Or let hackers steal your credit card information.

I foresee many bad things with this system.

Likewise.

Good for people who have no other option I guess.

I was happy when I read this, but sadly, all my hopes were crushed by

" You have reached this page through an error.
Return to the Charge NX page.(Code:0)"

which is the error you get when you're blocked via PayPal. In fact you're blocked from using any method involving credit cards (and from nx offers), not only PayPal. Sadly, we can already say goodbye to charging NX like that.

PayByCash remains the best option still, if your country gets good payment options.

they also added "your soul" as an option. 2k nx per soul. pretty good deal.

Why not just Pay by cash and then pick bank transfer? Just how you pay your bills normally. Works like a charm, although you need to wait a day or two for them to process your order which to me at least isn't a big deal. I really don't like using my credit card with anything online.

Eh, my card got declined when I tried. :x Oh well, there goes that option. Not like it's a problem for me, but eh.

After hearing about several cases of bannings from "NX fraud" or whatever it was, I REALLY don't trust PayPal. Not to mention I can't access my card statement to register my card anyway...

Because it takes two days+? The best option for me is thorugh Moneybookers and then PayByCash. It's safe and instant, but it is limited to 1 transaction per day.

Hmmm..

Okay, got a virtual debit-card number from my credit card company, and tried it. Nexon won't take my Paypal but they did accept that card, and if its number is compromised through their insecure site I only lose the few dollars I pre-loaded it with.

I foresee way too many cubes in my future...

Didn't they used to do this a long way back, and stopped due to fraud and stolen CC's?

No. At least not during my time in MS. I started more or less when Khaini opened

I'm going to echo this right here. I wouldn't use it.

It's through third party, UltimatePay handles the transactions.

Exactly. For those that don't know, the S in HTTPS is Secure.

I tried charging NX online for the first time yesterday, and when I found out I couldn't pay via PayPal (high risk transaction?) I used this option and it worked. I didn't know it was new.

Oh, I take it back. The frame that pops up is a secure connection.
