What do you expect for the next patch (November)?

Three (Four) patches, three surprises, so what do you expect from those crazy humanoid robots running Nexon America?

Whatever we get, I expect a lot of bitching and moaning.

Thanksgiving and Ulu City for sure. Big Bang is a possibility, but I honestly don't expect it so soon.

Big Bang / Ulu / Thanksgiving

Ulu for November as Nexon already stated at the entrance to there.

It depends. I know Ulu City and Thanksgiving events for sure as everyone else has stated. It's hard to imagine how big the patch will be, but I'm hoping for Neo Tokyo data in the next patch(very hopeful). That's if it's not Big Bang. However, the patch could solely be just a trigger to release Ulu City and Ghost Ship PQ. It's very hard to tell because of that new Big Bang poll Nexon released. =3=

Unless you're one of the few classes that trains fastest at Petrifighters or Dukus, isn't Ulu City the same as Would Tour filler? >_>

That said, I doubt we'll get the full BB this early. Aren't major patches typically July and Dec/Jan anyway?

Its sorta strange. The events of this patch end on the 27th but then Ulu City comes out the 3rd. I expect a VERY minor patch on the 27th to add in Halloween events The Ghost Ship PQ and thats it. But then what to add with Ulu..hmmm..NEXON's got me thinking here.

Who says they need to add extra? In fact, I doubt we'll see a patch on the 27th. I expect the next patch to be Nov 3rd, and I'm willing to put my account on the fact that Big Bang will not have any part in it. However, now that I think about it, the data is complete for both Ulu and Ghost ship, so they could simply appear on that day, it wouldn't require a patch, to my knowledge. NPC functions(Dolphin) and Portals(Ulu) are handled server side.

Isn't Ulu City the same thing as World Tour filler?

I would say not. China or Thailand, thats world tour filler, its useless junk. Ulu City actually has viable training spots, and allows some classes who are stuck being ksed by Bishops at skeles, to go to Duku's.

Is that even a real issue with dungeons?

The bigger advantage would be to have duku's as an escape from Turkeys overrunning the maps.

Oh right, I forgot about the dungeon. Hurr durr. Still, I think many classes benefit from Duku's higher exp and lower damage.

The 3 part big bang patch seems like a pretty good maketing strategy for the holiday season.

November- bring people back to the game with the game revamps
December- give people something to spend NX on with Resistance
January- mop up the post-christmas cash with Mechanic

Besides, is it really much of a stretch to get Big Bang a little less than 4 months after the KMS release? We got DBs 4 1/2 months after, and the gap in major content is constantly decreasing. And if they space out the Resistance patches to 5 weeks in between, then they have that much time to work on the heavy translation parts of BB.

Given that comparing Dual Bladers to Big Bang content wise is like comparing an outhouse to the Burj Khalifa, yes.

Do they even have Mini Dungeons there? I was ks'ed at Skeles before. Was 3 years ago, but ya.
