From their front page, it's obvious that MT won't be blocking SP anytime soon. They put up notices of ThaiMS's Pirate ads and the "intentional" Elemental Wand glitch. (It was amazing how long it took for them to find the official notice on GMS's website. ^_^) It's free advertising!

Of course, they could just be waiting to give Fiel a bribe for his pre-patcher unpacker... o_O (jk)

The pre-patcher is already open source O.o they can make prepatchers themselves.

Don't you mean the unpacker? Anyway, it's no surprise MT relies on SP for information. The entire MT database is updated using his unpacker, which he no longer releases publicly.

Yeah, and yet they have yet to update CWK maps and stuff. Also, they didn't always say anything about Fiel, but now we have free advertising. (No wonder they offered Fiel $10 for his unpacker, but wow, that's way too little for what it's worth.)
