Question about background at Leafre
#1
ok in last month i was doing quest to get silver mane so i go hunt some pads at cornian map, and i saw something strange, this rock of image was glowing like statues at gpq (when you drop spear), unfortunately i took few time to ss and effect vanished >_<, i tried look for effect again but nothing, so anyone know/saw that effect before and know what that means ? or is just a random map effect?

ss of stone (without effect =[) - name of map is The Hidden Dragon Tomb II

I've been told that it heals you when you stand under it while it's glowing. It apparently heals a very large amount so it's rather helpful when fighting a mob in that area.

Seems like anyone who is start enough might be able to hunt down that in the wz files and alter it so that the game always thinks its glowing and always thinks the character is under it

It'd be like having godmode, but people see you take damage

It's not exactly in a good training spot, though. Cornians? They've never been great, as far as I've heard.

They heal 3.5k when you stand next to them, though it would seem useful, it's absolutely useless. lol cornians Eek

Given that ridiculous hacking idea, it still wouldn't be that useful even if you did it because then you're limited to that tiny area under the rock. The best places where it is are usually at points where the spawn gets "Clogged" so you'd only go up there for a little while to clear that out and get training normally again. Not that anyone trains at those forest maps anyway...

No no what I meant was, theoretically, take that code and make it so no matter where your character is, the game thinks you are under that rock and its glowing

Its farfetched, but just an idea

Please do not discuss ideas for hacking procedures. Leave that for hacking forums.

I always wondered what that thing was for. Does anyone know what triggers it to start glowing? I thought that maybe it would be a horntail summoned in the server or something, but I went to one during a HT fight and nothing =(

It lights up for a minute every 10 minutes. Very inefficient, if not useless.

Nice find, haven't noticed that before. Btw, is that a dragon in the background?

It heals 1K HP per second. I wouldn't say it's useless, but it's not very useful either.

Omg. I was looking for this. I knew there was some sort of thing that glowed and healed you in some map in some area, but I couldn't recall the specifics.

I wanted to mention it in the CWK thread yesterday, but for what reason I don't recall now...
