Well.. If the patch is on the 30th then we could technically get it this month, if only for a day. And if BB is the october patch. :T

if Nexon has smart people, they'll have the BB patch on the night of the 29th.

Resistance is in big bang, KoC and Lionheart is same patch.

Goddammit, I forgot the monster book was being "removed" in Big Bang! I need to grind my ass out on 24 hour x2 drop cards for the remaining monster cards for Saint Exorcist, I'm stuck on the 2nd one due to Zombie Mushmom, but I'm pretty much done with parts 3 and 4. Now I'm really hoping for a November release, despite how much I don't want it to happen due to Cata lol

so after Big bang there are the resistance classes to add only... I was kinda hoping they wouldn;t update so fast because then they'll run out of content and the filler patches will just come one after the other until something new comes up o_o

Alien event is a filler. Gives players a few weeks of something to do, and it buys Nexon more time to focus completely on Big Bang since they wouldn't need to work on anything else for the most part.

Free HP is always nice, plus the fact the HP/MP cap becomes 99,999 in Big Bang, so more HP for the Tankadin with Self-HB!

This year is my prediction.

Continuing on the levels thing, I firmly believe that Maplestory follows Moore's Law. Every 18 months, Maplestory becomes twice as easy to level whether due to levels, potential system, scrolls, equipment, or just outright decreasing exp rates.
