I don't see why they would change the name. Big Bang is a very fitting name for the update even for Americans.

It's like, the big bang creating everything. The Big Bang patch took what we knew and completely altered it, changing the land, the monsters, and such basically creating a new world, so Big Bang is a fitting name whether it is indeed based off a pop group name or not. (Which I doubt it was, unless they said it was themselves)

On-topic: I'm thinking around 2 or so, for reasons others have already said. 1st being the core Big Bang updates, then the next being Resistance.

Their paragraph explaining it is so fail.
1. "continents will quake... foundations of reality will quake" using the same word to describe the smaller and larger concepts in a single sentence sounds dumb.
2. "it is the biggest... it is the event" i hate when 2 sentences start with the same word or phrase next to each other.
3. "dogs and cats will live together" thats just a dumb analogy that doesn't fit in whatsoever.

Other than that, its exciting we're so close to the "Big-Bang" in GMS, finally i'll be able to determine my final class-to-be.

Lol I kinda like the dogs and cats will live together thing. But anyway I see no mention of Resistance in that announcement... me thinks they will be a separate thing. I also don't understand the people that are saying "Well obviously its no coming soon its coming like in dec./jan." UUUUUMMMMMM if all they need to do is name it I am pretty sure its pretty much done. I am betting October/November patch. To those people who are saying "Well we need Hob king PQ first" well I understand that but if I were nexon I would just wait because I mean why put it in one month then the next go back and change it to work with big bang? It seems like a waste of effort.

Yeah, they probably won't do pomegranate until they notice how few hits it takes to kill BF after the new formulas are put in. Even then, I wouldn't bet any money on it.

Yeah, I also think so. I think that sometimes when something really exciting is happening, some people turn their excitement into anger in order to stand out from the crowd a little.

I'm a Bishop and I'm waiting for my new gameplay :O kinda bored of maple now.

I'll also have more motivation to level up my Blaze Wizard. Not to mention the idea of ultimate adventurers. Might make an ultimate F/P after finishing my Blaze Wizard.

Not too excited about resistance. Marksman, Bishop and Corsair seem way more fun to me. It's all about the Octopi. But Edelstein seems like a cool place to hang out.

The only fix they may need is to make sure New Leaf City mobs are adjusted appropriately, otherwise mob balance made by kMS will be undone so zetta fast your eyes will spin inside your head.

That 1200 weapon attack from Bigfoot that does like 8k-11k now gets turned into about 1200 damage after the BB patch right? If so, any ranged character will easily tank and kill it without fear of being run over by it. That's assuming Nexon will only copy, paste, and translate all the KMS BB data into GMS while not adjusting any other content this patch doesn't touch.
