It's a sad thing...

The first video looks like fun....... The second one, ehh, not so much.

If the guy in the second video wants to spend more on pots, that's just fine with me.

Personally, I would rather do what was in the first video. At least it gives some skill to a game where you just hold down a button, as exemplified in the second video.

i remember when i ran the 4th job video thread back at sw before 4th job was out. i came across that video and like everyone, was amazed at how well she handled her character and how fast she was killing.

however, i did found out some things about her. she's holding an elemental weapon. not only that, she's incredibly strong. at level 120, she had 1000 magic (or something near that). even lukless in gms these days dont have 1000 until 14x; she doesnt even have maple warrior yet.

also, notice her chain lightning. its hitting 20k's.

this guy is 18x and he's barely hitting 20k. you have to realize how strong that girl is in order to train like that. because in gms, archmages cannot kill 1v1 targets that fast.

^Problem is, if you're rich enough to afford insane equipment like that to reach 1k+ at level 120, you're also rich enough to spam ultimates without NLC potions. Without that insane equipment, training's gonna be tough. I wonder how expensive level 130 wands are in jMS.

Wow... just... wow at the first one. She took barely any touch damage, used blizzard sparingly, moved well, and she knew all but one time how many hits it would take. The second? The shocking truth. ._.

From what i heard elemental weapons in jms are cheap cos they drop from monsters.

I thought she was only doin 20ks with chain lightning because elemental wands actually work in other versions. Not just because she was godly.

Or maybe because she doesn't blizz-train so her blizz is only level 1 unlike all the archmages in gms? i dont see why her blizz HAS to do high damage when she doesnt even use it. hell, my archmage trains with blizzard and i only have a levl 1 blizz.

Regardless, you don't often see 2nd job mages doing that kind of stuff with their available skills. They have Teleport, they can 1-2hko what they train on just fine... but holding down Thunderbolt at Retz or wherever is easier.

That's because the only class with a forward ranged mobbing skill before 4th job is Archers. I/Ls have to stand in the middle of mobs to spam Thunderbolt and Blizzard. Otherwise they have to resort to single-target magic, which as we all know, is weak as hell.

Edit: Oh right, forgot about Avenger v (lol hermit mobbing)

Forward ranged mobbing:
Avenger, for what it counts.
Fury, in a way.
Screw Punch and Invisible Shot once those make their appearance.

But yeah, that comparison was bad ._.

That still doesn't take away the fact that she is using a lightning elemental wand...

she was like my idol ! lol... just ignore the dmg she's doing, the way she moved and timed ifrit was amazing... lol... when 4th job came out... i actually went there to try and train... but i kept gettin knocked off T_T....

and yea.. most ppl do ultimates cuz it is the fastest way to train..

i have say thou, id/cl/ifrit is really fun thou =p, i did max ice demon first xD... i would like to make a video... but i dunno how =/...
