Hexagon Necklace?

What purpose does it serve? I have one and wanna know if its worth holding onto or dropping.

Having it in your inventory activates this quest, which must be spoken to Arwen to activate:

The Erasers are a huge pain in the ass since they're gachapon only. Slime and.. Wraith(?) Erasers are very hard to find as well. Even more so ever since the Gold Richie chair event which allowed you to trade in 3(or was it 4?) of these erasers.

Oh, and the reward for the quest is randomly chosen: a Pink or Blue Seal Cushion chair.

I think they're just... fake. Don't know why Nexon would do that, to be honest.

My best guess is when they added the "collect 'em all" line to explain what these items are, they forgot to remove the original items from the database. No such problem in JMS.

The problem with the inception of erasers lies elsewhere: they were originally used to obtain "beginners only" weapons which contradicts with the in-game instructions to pick a first job. Now that they're being reused for quests there's no fundamental problem, per se. Requiring NX to finish quests is still dubious since the game is supposed to be "free to play"

off topic: I don't even think you should be able to level from 10 to 11 or 30 to 31 w/o job advancements, N00bs can level up from overkill experience and end up with 99.98% at level 10/30/etc. From there 1 EXP is enough to level you up again and you're screwed.

If I recall correctly, there used to be a Quest for the 'fake' erasers to turn them into real ones. I don't think that Quest ever made it to GMS though. There used to be alot more Hexagon Necklaces in the FM in my memory, it seems much more rare now.

Actually now that I think about it Hexagon Necklaces don't even exist in JMS (was in the client and still might be but there's no way to obtain them). There is a similar quest called "Broker Han and the Mysterious Ore" which is the same as the quest in GMS but begins when you obtain a Blue Ore (gasha only item) and you get an "Alchemist's Ring" (lvl 10 ring, stat +1, no req, UG 1) as reward. JMS has never figured out the purpose of this ring though.
