I don't see why it would take so much revamping to do it.
Much of the data that was included in the monsterbook was fully dynamic with mob.wz. The drop tables can be pulled out with a simple query. Considering the complexity of the UI that they use even for basic events, I don't think creating a MB UI would be too bad. The time intensive thing would be to change all of the ETC stuff to have the correct levels. The lore can largely stay the same as well. So what is it about Monsterbook that would take so long? I'm not seeing it.

Regardless of how much current events change, George Washington still chopped down the cherry tree.
So your argument is based upon the fact that they'll change this from the ground up? Perhaps. I really can't deny your point because I don't know. But this should not take long.

Grendel is twice the size of my fucking grandpa. Personally, I hope this is some sort of Mushroom Kingdom or GPQ expansion, but the number of new NPCs seems too small for either.

I don't think it's gone but..it'll come back I can almost promise that, sooner or later it will. I keep saying that about Masteria..but hey on the bright side of that note, the years not over yet and they seem to do one expansion a year?

So right after they expand high level mobs, they go back to making mobs for the 120ish range? .__.
Temple of Time revolves around lv 120 weapons; the mobs there shouldn't extend much from that range.

If they really are normal mobs and spawn like normal mobs, this is going to be Marksmen's heaven. But something tells me that they aren't.
Anyways, the new guild skill prices are ridiculous. 250m to buy the skill and 10m to renew it, for 10% EXP? Does it stack with Family and 2x EXP? IF and only IF it does, I might accept those prices as "almost reasonable". If it doesn't, they totally aren't. And sorry, but even after reading Spadow's blog, I still don't understand. You pay 200k, 1.6m, 54m, etc. just to raise the skill level (and everyone in the guild will have that skill with that level), or to CAST it? If it's to cast it, does every one in the guild get the skill? Else, what's the price to cast it? The renewal price, that should be kind of clear: it's to renew the buff and make it last longer. But 250m just to CAST seems a bit too much.

1.5x is for family bonding. meaning you and the 6 people directly below you need to simultaneously be on.

Yay for fire-weak mobs. If this is in El Nath, then it certainly makes sense that most of them are fire-weak.

Since CWK is connected via Aqua Road it is plausible CWK is somewhere in El Nath (in KMS and JMS). Masteria might be put to death soon to keep continuity. Masteria devs should be treated as Gods for bringing Olivia into the game. Maplestory is now DIAMONDS (in October)
