I think they chose windia cause they felt bad that they gave scanians free 2x when Windia actually defeated Pink Bean.

When Stage 2 was first released, there were clearly some issues that called for it to be closed down. I don't think one server with a few hundred people can really tell you the effect of the release on multiple servers with millions of people... so this has nothing to do with Tespia. There were other issues so Nexon opened it to Windia, which isn't too big or too small, to test things out. It works fine for me and has worked fine, so I don't think Stage 2 will be unavailable to others for much longer... :f6:

wow if i hadn't already experienced stage 2 on friday i would be pretty peeved about this. giving one server access to an event -- putting them at an advantage by who knows how many days, is not right. they'll be able to gain hundreds more coins per person than any other server.

it's kinda weird that nexon didn't put any notice about it on website, maybe they actived it by mistake, and now -hime- say its WAI, working as intended.

More likely, the hour mark updated when it changed from 11AM PST to 12 PM PST. If this is the case, it'll say "12 hours to stage 2" until 1 PM PST, at which point it will switch to "11 hours" until 2, etc.

It's announcing every 10 min, but the actual hour doesn't change that much.

So after i scroll my equips +3 each piece how do i upgrade it to be visitor equips? Everyone talking about scrolling, so all the equips are a total of 12 scrolled together but what do you do after they are? Does it upgrade automatically?

From what people said, at what point does your equips change depends on your level. Higher the level, the more cores you need to put in before it can change. In your case... you probably will have to put in all 12 cores per equip for it to change automatically.

Also, I get 47 medals per questing run + 9 more for HPQing once. So... I can get at least 3 cores daily for the rest of this patch. Shouldn't be a problem for me then to get everything to 12 and then max out overalls eventually.

I already said it once in this topic, but:

lvl 30+ requires 2 upgrades per piece of equipment to change it to visitor -SINGLE STAT-
lvl 70+ requires 7 upgrades per piece of equipment to change it to visitor -SINGLE STAT-
lvl 120+ requires 12 upgrades per piece equipemtn to change to visitor -SINGLE STAT-

For yellow alien look - str only scrolling-
For red alien look -dex only scrolling-
For black alien look -luk only scrolling-
For white alien look -int only scrolling-

Anyone figure out how to make any of the equips permanent yet? I mean specifically, not a general idea.

As a 5x/6x dual blader, I doubt I'll be able to get many medals, so making my items +12 or whatever isn't a possibility unless I can make them permanent and keep going.

Seems kind of pointless to make an even that gives out awesome items beyond anything that currently exists, and then take them away if you fail to complete the appropriate quests to make them permanent. In other words, I hate that everything maplestory does is obviously engineered to make you log on daily and for many hours at a time. Might as well not be a persistent character system.

@ Herborist, we'll have to wait for Stage 3 and/or 4 for Crystanol Powder to start dropping somehow. Collecting enough of those gets you Crystanol that can either extend your equips by days to months or keep it permanently, depending on how much you collect.

1260 medals for starting quest, 60 medals per mission completion, able to do it 3 times a day. 12 Medals for faming a random and 12 medals for doing a PQ, 1 medal for staying logged in for an hour. Which totals up to about 205 medals a day.
48 * 50 = 2400 medals - 1260 starting medals = 1340 medals left / 205 medals per day ~ is about 6 and a half days of doing the questing to get the upgraded suit.
