[Glitch] Talking in Numbers?
#21
A few people on my buddy list were complaining about this earlier, and talking about how it was making a few things impossible to do. Once they changed channels it seemed to fix, but I haven't run into it yet.

Lol, imagine that glitch in Fm ch1. xD
Spammed binary codes? I think yes.

I think it's just Nexon's way of getting us more interested in Numbers. xP

This happened to me earlier today when I was at Griffey. Me and my friend messed around with it and only noticed that it happened with longer sentences/with spaces. Then we relogged and everything seemed to work fine.

I dunno. :x

An interesting theory about the number I found posted in Sleepywood:

fgsfdsy Wrote:played around a bit, and noticed it isn't really a random number.. seems to be a number that rises rapidly from what seems to be 0 to maybe 32000 and back again. Any idea what number this is?

I tried it today in ch. 5 Bellocan and confirmed this to be true. It may be a server-generated seed number (32k is roughly 2^15) for psudo-random events. A factor in .determining the success of scrolls maybe? xD

Happened to me today too on certain channels. To fix it simply put a quotation mark before anything you want to say.

For example:
"Hey what is up?
"Lol youre a fgt

The number glitch only occurs if you type more then 2 words per sentence, or atleast put more then 2 spaces.

Nexon and their glitches. What else is new?:confused:

For me the number glitch occurs only on channel 6. Very annoying at Zakum. Easy way around it is to enclose your chat with quotes.

edit: Actually you just need the first character to be a quote... no need for a closing quote.

The Germ understands it.

it's just a glitch effecting certain ch's.

You.can.always.just.avoid.it.

It only affects all-chat if you have more than 3 words. You can always just talk to your party at zakum, or even justtalklikethisinallchatifyoureallyhavesomethingtosay.

Yea. As far as I know it only occurs in certain channels, and the only ones I'm aware of in Bera are Ch7. As some guy previously said, type.like.this, or-like-this. It pretty much fixes it. Cept for the times you're surfing chs and forget you're in that 1337 ch.

It took everyone around 10 minutes on my zak run to figure out why everyone was talking like that .. Quite comical (:

I had that problem last night, I didn't know what was happening. I first thought that numlock had came on, but it wasn't that. So I then relogged.

Was amusing, because the person that I was trying to talk to (a total stranger) then whispered me when I logged back in to tell me that it was a weird glitch that had been happening (I think it was quite obvious I had no idea), and that they didn't think I was crazy Tongue

And LOL Tess (and others that it happened on Z-Runs), that must have been quite amusing Tongue
