I'm also European (French), used to live there, have gone back several times to visit, and just don't understand the hype. I guess my extended stay there has ruined the novelty for me.

Yeah. I'd say the fun of going to a different country is experiencing what you haven't where you live/have lived.

No, really, I heard it's a great place to go settle. The government has longterm plans for microindustry and the such. I read a while about this and it amazes me.
