The Visitor Event Guide/Discussion.

Looks like I should stick with my policy of waiting a couple of days to see if they schedule a fix.

I found a temp fix to Maple freezing during traveling. Go to Windowed mode in between when you're going to a new OSSS area. It didn't freeze up for me when I did the last mission for the day.

I dropped my ID card to make space. Anyone know how I can get another one?

You can't. Unless they changed it from Tespia.

You're welcome.

SaptaZapta Wrote:Not waiting, just wondering whether to make the effort to do all the quests every day on as many chars as I can, or do only a few of them and wait with the others until we see what the final reward is.

Well, I'm not entirely sure about this either. I'm doing it on as many characters as possible because I know I
will be able to get the Bing Suit/weapons later on. It'll be a handful to do all the quests on 4 or more characters
I think though, so just do it on any character(S) you think it's worthy doing it on.

As for the final reward, I'll just be happy to get the Bing suit and have it perm on one character. Not for the slots,
but because IT'S AWESOME.

As MetaSeraphim said, I'm not sure if you can get another. I would say you could try to restart the chain of quests
but I'm not entirely sure what would happen then. I'm pretty certain the quests reset at the start of each day though.

Oh, and switched the guide a little so as to keep it roomy for more updates. Thanks for all the replies so far and I hope you can find solutions for your problems.

I was getting freezes and lags and DCs on a DB there and ev erywhere, too.

I point to my latest point concerning this troublesome problem.

See if this works for you.

The only quests that reset each day are the 6 daily mission quests, since you get the ID card from one of the quests before that I am 99% sure you can't get it again.

Getting into the OSSS base. At least without the escort it is.

Even after dropping it you can go to and from the base without doing the escort mission. I don't know if it is used later on, I didn't do stage 2 and 3 without the card.

Got me then, could be like the screwed up episode 1 quest items that never tell you when you don't need them anymore and aren't removed via quest progression.

Not exactly. You get the card right after you finish the escort mission, so it must be used for something.

If it's going to be: do this same thing for 6 days, then boring... hopefully part 2 is more fun, and a bit longer, this can be done in <15mins.

it seems like they could've done more with stage one. lol

Are there any permanent, tangible rewards to keeping up with all this? I'm too lazy to log on but I don't want to regret it later..

EDIT: // Eh too late, I did it.

Part one is a bit too dry and quick for the likes of me. I really can't wait for stage 3. From the vid my friend made of that, it looks the most fun.

Maybe stage 1 was so short BECAUSE it's stage 1? Obviously expect stages 2-4 to last longer or take a little more time to complete. It's like Mario: do you really expect level 1 to be as long or hard as the other levels?

Exactly. It has the same standing as every single other f'ucking event in the game.
